Don't go there. It's too beautiful. All I really want is to prevent too much tourists to come here and make it an Insta or TikTok spot. Just freaking respect nature and the local life for once... Anyways, truly magical place, but just give it 1 stars to prevent the "quick" tourists of getting here for an pic and be off again whilst not respecting..... Beeindruckend und ein Muss wenn man hier in der Nähe ist ✨ The of Brataj (Ura e Vashës) is a true treasure of Albanian craftsmanship and history! Built entirely with local stone and traditional arch design, this 18th-century blends seamlessly into the stunning natural landscape around it. Surrounded by green hills and the gentle sound of the river below, the offers a peaceful, picturesque setting that invites visitors to admire both its engineering and its beauty. A wonderful stop for anyone seeking to connect with Albania’s authentic heritage and unspoiled nature. 🌉💚 A breathtaking piece of Albanian history! Brataj is one of the most hidden gems in southern Albania. The stone structure, the river flowing underneath, and the surrounding silence create a magical atmosphere. Perfect for nature lovers, photographers, or anyone curious about Albania’s heritage. Tip: Visit in spring or early fall for the best lighting and peaceful vibes. Don’t forget your camera! The of Brataj is a hidden gem – a short walk takes you to this 16th-century stone surrounded by crystal-clear blue water, peaceful nature and birds cheerfully singing away. A perfect spot to pause, breathe, and take in the beauty. The itself is impressive, but some visitors have decided to improve the scenery by scribbling their names or country on a large white rock – because nothing says “I was here” like turning nature into your personal guestbook. The trail is quite steep and rocky, so don’t show up in flip-flops unless you’re aiming for a surprise workout or a dramatic tumble. All in all – a peaceful and scenic place that’s absolutely worth the stop! Parking facile à trouver. Avoir de bonnes chaussures car sol instable avec gros cailloux et dénivelé parfois important. Vaut le coup d'être vu Amazing place, natural beauty mixed with old world construction, a short but relatively steep hike down from parking above. Even in Sept there was plenty of clear water. I’d love to see it in the spring amazing place and river to swim! Shame about this horrible people leaving bogies, bags and food scattered around !! a bit of walk to get down to the river but it’s part the experience Amazing place with the possibility of swimming in the clear blue water. This is a and swimming area, but it is poorly marked. Google Maps pulls you into a parking lot, and the sign showing you the trail down isn't very good. Don't try to drive the road/trail as a car will not make it. The trek down on foot is also very difficult. It can be very steep, and the whole way is covered with large loose stones. My wife and I almost fell several times. A few nice-looking signs and simply clearing a 2 foot wide footpath through the rocks would make this a nice attraction. I am sure as Albania developes more and becomes more of a tourist hotspot the local residents will start to capitalize on areas such as this and will put a little effort into them knowing that it will bring a good stream of revenue for their efforts. Like the one we had in Moria.. But leading to Rivendell. Mega schön 👍☺️ Unbelievably place with white rocks and clear blue water (and you can swim there!!!), but as well with an unbelievable amount of trash. Garbage is everywhere. Locals don't take care about this place and people are leaving their trash there as it would be normal. Ok, I know it's folklore in Albania, but It's just sad. Please take care about your country. As a tourist I can say it is disgusting. La visita è fantastica come lo è ovviamente il ponte antico di Brataj Country Such a ancient place. Nature is stunning but the only issue is that the hiking trail is not very clear but it’s not that difficult to get down there anyways. Amazing experience! The swimming is absolutely mandatory. The hiking is medium but manageable Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
