You come here and feel right at home and at one with the ocean. It is the old port of Barlovento, once used by smugglers and/or pirates, they say. There are small huts built into the rock as a kind of cave and are now mainly used by fishermen. The bay is great for swimming and the water is crystal clear. Be sure to go here and enjoy the unique atmosphere! Pleasant place, worth a 15 minute look if you are in the area. If you have just been to la fajana, or on the way, then stop here to see a rural fishing community you can feel the history in the wood and ropes and smell the grease from the old boat winch, some little houses and store rooms are still in use. I think this is the best place to visit when you have blue sky and rough sea. Theres is a large car park, benches and lighting. nice place on the coast Just for short stop, if you like abandoned places. Nice stop along the road. Looks like a scene from a pirate movie. Some very big crabs to be seen Very old. Easy to acces the place, big parking lot nearby. Visited on Sunday so there were locals fishing and hanging out by the shore. Very nice place for ocean waves spotting 👌 Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
