A good range of fruit and vegetables. Most times very fresh but be careful as sometimes to soft. Also have flowers and store cupboard ingredients. On a Friday the fish man turns up Such a good variety of food and groceries here - and all top quality. You can even make your own milkshakes (with various flavours) from their fresh milk. The vanilla milkshake was delicious! That's how a local should be! Great range of fruits and vegetables, jams, bread, chutneys, and everything in between. What I really liked was the produce labels showing their provenance: local strawberries, tomatoes or potatoes, Spanish peaches, Dutch bell peppers - at least you know what you're getting yourself into. Spacious inside, small convenient trolleys for your shopping, cute little signs all over the place, plenty of parking outside. Really impressed and will definitely come again when visiting the island next. Stellar job team, keep up the amazing work! We were visiting Hayling Island for the first time. It is a beautiful place and the beach has a mix of sand and pebbles. On our way to the beach I saw the and it was a must to visit it. On our way back home we stopped there and I bought these amazing looking tomatoes, some oak smoked garlic butter which tastes amazing, some kefir and a loaf of bread. The butter with the bread and the tomatoes were absolutely delicious together. They have a variety of fresh products, cured meats, butter, and vegetables. If you are in the area you should visit them. We visited on 18 Aug to see the sunflower fields with the grandchildren. It is worth a visit to see these as there are large displays. It is £5 per adult and children are free. With the £5 you get to pick 6 sunflowers per adult. Obviously it is best to visit on a sunny day. Our day was mixed weather but we did have some sunshine. If it has been raining you do need wellies as it can get very muddy under foot. They also have a which is in a different location selling various produce. We actually bought at the sunflower field and they were delicious 😋 - definately worth a purchase. You would not need more than an hour at the fields and then you can spend the rest of your day at the beach. How have I not been before, such a lovely shop, friendly, helpful staff. With a huge range in offer and at extremely reasonable prices. Also they have a milkshake bar where you can add a shot of various flavours to a glass bottle and then fill it with ice cold milk... Delicious 😋! Also you can take the bottle back and have a refill at a discount. I will be back Pleasantly surprised! This held far more than I expected including items from the garlic farm! My favourite! Fresh, local fruits, veggies and meats. Very impressed and I don't know how I managed to work so many years on the island without knowing this was here! I love this little shop. I always get a tray of freshly laid from here. As my boys have grown, they have loved having the milkshakes. We occasionally get bags of potatoes for here. They're always so fluffy once cooked. If we are lucky, we manage to get cheese straws :) Loved Sam's Sunflowers this year... they've really upped their game this year. Superb displays with tracks cut through the sunflowers to explore and harvest your pickings. Well organised with parking and refreshments available. 🌻 what on earth has happened with the eggs? I appreciate that the are smaller due to new hens but where has the deep golden yellow yolks gone to? all I am getting from the on my last two visits are, weak, milky looking not good at all yolks. Very disappointing . will give it a break for a month to see if quality gets better. Went in to look for some local honey and ended up coming out with more 😋 Their gluten free pies and sausage rolls are lovely too, probably the best sausage roll I've had. So glad I also found a place that sells the hazelnut Longley yogurts that brings me back to my childhood (I could not find them anywhere else and Asda down south don't sell them like they do up north). Beautiful shop, will be back.
