Decided to stop for some photos. We then proceeded towards Valensole where we came across a huge patch of wild flowers in full bloom. The area was all pink. Couldn’t let the chance pass by. Had to find a way into the field. Wow! It was magnificent. When we arrrived there were only 2 cars including ours. When we were leaving, more cars arrived causing a minor jam on the narrow path, which is enough for 1 car. Suggest that you park outside and walk in. It’s only about 300 meters from the main road. We came just out of the lavande period on beginning of August, all the lavande have been harvested. But thanks for this shop, they still keep a large part of farm to let tourists see the beauty. The behavior of the staff is absolutely unacceptable (I'm talking about the ice cream seller), he is extremely rude and disrespectful, clearly hates his job and customers. It feels like he's doing you a favor by selling ice cream. No respect for the visitors, he is rude at every turn.
