There's plenty of benches to sit and relax for a while, also a small area with a few tables. We didn't get down to the hamble river, so we'll have to go back. Also because of the lack of rain the small waterfalls weren't flowing. It really is a place to go and wasn't very busy when we visited on a sunny Sunday. This is a place to visit, with gorgeous trees and many pathways to explore. You can down to Hamble river, but wellies needed in the winter or wet weather. Great for taking your dog and/or kids. You can spend all day there . No good for wheelchairs or push chairs, very steep in places and 7neven ground. Not enough seats dotted around though for us oldies to rest... Fairly good clean hard paths to on, however some hills on some of the paths so be aware of fitness levels. There is also a café that has opened which I believe is at the leisure centre which is a short from the woodland park. I have not visited so can't comment. There are a few ponds with Mallard's & your customary seagulls on a loop which you can combine with a through the Nature reverse & the hamble. Really good walk, changing landscape . It exhausts the kids but unfortunately not spaniels 🐾. You'll have a wonderful day out at no cost apart from a cuppa at the end. The car is with toilets on site, across the road at the Leisure Centre there is a little pop up coffee shop (Holly Hill Cafe) which is very reasonably priced. A place to around that was very clean and kept the dog and little one very happy Lovely walking area, very quiet and there's lots of wildlife place to the dog.
