Very nice building, full of interesting architecture. The are beautiful with a variety of planting schemes. Very peaceful walking round or sitting near the pond. Great couple of hours out, very nice woodland to walk through on a warm sunny day. I am so pleased we went to see this beautiful garden and Château. 5€ each for entrance. Free car parking. The were accessible for wheelchairs and prams . But not sure about the Château. The tranquility of the whole setting and the work to keep it looking splendid is outstanding. We took time to sit in the deck chairs provided in the shade of the old trees, to be in the moment. Water trickling through the stream and cascading from the fountain all helped too. What beutiful the formal are wonderful and the parkland offers a lovely shady walk when the sun was as hot as it was the day we visited. Dog friendly, they are only not allowed in the formal boxed hedged area they are allowed to walk around then. The house itself is really a performing arts area but the building itself is beutiful. The staff were very friendly and it was cheap to visit half at least the price of a simular garden in the UK. Small cafe on site as well I'm the summer July and August they have musical and performance arts in the I understand. Good parking as well even for motorhomes Well worth a visit. Lovely and park, very well maintained. There are lawn chairs where you can have a short break. Really worth a visit, we were happy to be in the area and enjoy it. We go there many times a year and the are a joy to stroll and to enjoy the scenery of the castle. The amazing tree sculptures, the giant Sequoia, the pond, it's a pleasure to visit 😉. And afterwards a local beer or coffee, wine? The are beautiful, as mentioned in others’ reviews. I am not sure the cost of €6,50 per adult to enter equates to the experience though. The chateau was empty with no art on the walls and unfurnished. We only had access to two rooms to look at and this didn’t add much to the experience. Disappointing as we have seen many other excellent historical places filled with art and explanation (like in Dijon who seem to provide much more for free for the tourist). To add insult to injury, we were expected to pay an extra euro to get the information guide in English. Super nice garden and the building is awesome, especially the attic!
