Good use of the old site and the empty buildings seem ghost like and eiree. Plenty of space, good water and electric plus easy drive over drain. Nice walk into town and a peaceful night's sleep. We stayed 30th May 2022. 7.5m motorhome 5 star Aire type camp site. 5 stars for the peaceful tree studded park with individual plots with hedges however electricity is weird. Cuts off, you have to press button. Not sure how much you get. No toilets etc. Lovely sized pitches with EHU. Ticket machine at entrance can be confusing 30 minutes or so walk into town Great aire on an island in the middle of the river Gers. €12.80 for 24hrs with ehu, water & waste. Secure entrance /exit & nice pitches marked with hedges & trees. Quiet at night. Auch is beautiful & is well worth seeing. Lovely walk into town along the river then up the great staircase to the cathedral, which is also worth seeing. We loved our stay, a hidden gem! Such a shame it's got beautiful greenery loos are closed took ages working to actually get on. Places are blocked off stopping going in to town etc .Run down noone to ask anything. I came across this place by chance, I could not stop at the time but plan to re-visit. Open site with grass and electric, very nice for an Aire. The more time I spend in Auch the more I like it, as I say I will be planning a stopover soon. "Really good stopover for emptying grey and black water and refilling the tank. You need to pay at the machine to open the automatic gate — it's a bit tricky but manageable. Across the street, there's a pathway to the historic city and cathedral.
