Interesting castle transformed as an art center This is a beautiful ancient château Outside it looks brilliant both from a distance and close up Initially thought that the 14+€ entry fee was worth while till we got inside It was a bloody shop!! All rooms had exhibits of art for sale ( not cheap) and had nothing to do with the history or story of this lovely Château At the end -- Guess what? A tourist shop selling stuff totally unrelated to the Chateau itself If I wanted to go shopping I would have gone to a big city outlet So disappointed! !! A very beautiful little village. Well worth visiting with its castle from 10th century and the adorable church with nice view Very interesting visit of this castle with in addition a beautiful exhibition inside. Its exterior architecture is remarkable. Don’t forget to go down into the village, one of the most beautiful in France What an amazing find. We loved every minute here from the chateau to the stoll around the quaint town. The plus was there was a wonderful gallery of ceramics. Amazing building. And the exhibitions were spectacular. Well done to all those who are involved in the developments. Would be good to see more of the interior of the castle and the renovation work being done. Amazing building. Walk behind the castle and in to the pretty little village and meet very friendly people. Le Wisteria is an excellent cafe, bar and restaurant. The glass exhibition was really good.
