Ebborways Farm

Wells, United Kingdom Bed & breakfast

One of the Best Places To Visits in Wookey Hole Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. Camping 🏕️ Myself, mu usband and three dogs stayed here. Very laid back place with an ‘old school’ vibe which we just loved. Enough space to set ourselves up properly, perfectly priced and welcoming. Close to wookey hole Note to consider (we like it but people should know): compost toilets and no showers Just got back from a 2 night stay. There are 3 fields to choose from, each have their own compost toilets housed in a small wooden shed. Toilet roll and sawdust was plentiful. Nice that you can choose where you want to pitch up. Good location for Ebborway gorge, wookey, Glastonbury and wells. Not far from the is a beautiful viewpoint which is great for sunset. Unfortunately despite them having rules they are not adhered too by other campers and no warden at night. We had someone rock up at 11pm to pitch their tent so had both cars running with lights on doors slamming open and shut for almost 2.5 hours. The following night there were a couple of groups who also did not understand quiet time after 11pm. The fact that there are no washing facilities isn't great. This could be amazing with some minor changes. Great basic campsite. Loved that you can pitch wherever you like, no set spaces. Fire pits around the site to be used as you need. Composting toilets were clean and well stocked. Only stayed one night, will definitely be back soon for a longer visit 😀 Good for a great price, but the facilities are simple - there are no showers and the toilets are only compost toilets. I think this is great for 1 or 2 nights, but not for 3 or more nights because of the lack of showers. However, this place is quiet and has a nice atmosphere, swings and plenty of space to play football and other games that require a lot of field space. There are also some good walks nearby, and the Mendip Communications Tower thingy near the looks good.
