Was a quiet Saturday evening meal. I felt there were lots of tables squashed into one room (but that's just my opinion). Lots of memorabilia everywhere which was nice but felt a little overcrowded - again just my opinion and not a complaint. Staff lovely and friendly, maybe a tad understaffed as we waited a while to be served. But not complaining. More of an observation. Food - nice choice and tasted above expectations. Will like to go again but not on a busy evening. Personal preference. Always passed here but never been in until this evening, the is fantastic so much to see. The rear garden looks epic I would love to see it at night. Staff were nice and the food was good, very filling but managed desert. I definitely will return even if only for a drink. A refreshing pub, a novel experience. Lovely time spent at a friend's birthday party recently. Staff were absolutely brilliant and made the evening flown with ease. The hog roast was a little disappointing but I hear they do food and will return for that sometime New Menu recently launched. Therefore didn't had the chance to try anything as of yet. Pork scratching is awesome, a amount of beer and cider choices and the bar whole pub is lovely decorated. I really like the beer garden. I think the owners recently changed or just the name changed to the lace now. There's as well always a variety of cakes available. They look great. Really enjoyed this quirky pub, popped in passing through, staff were friendly,surroundings unusual,a lot of thought has gone into this pub. Very dog friendly,food was good, especially choc crunchie cheesecake 😋 Stellar place to get food and a pint and so welcoming! The was fabulous, very unique 🤩🏍️🦜 We shared macaroni cheese, ciders, onion rings and the curry all of which were fantastic and value for money. experience. Lovely food and as a petrol head the is great! and oh my god the desserts are amazing! Such a quirky bar/restaurant! Such interesting decor, service and the food was so tasty! Leather and Lace hosted about 20 members of our car club on Sunday afternoon for lunch. If you haven't been here it's worth a visit for a unique experience of and atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and accommodating and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. Most people had the Sunday roasts which were very good. The desserts and cakes are all homemade and delicious. What a fantastic find!! Incredible food, the burgers, soo delicious, tasty Mac n Chesse and heavenly home made cheesecakes! Julia and Pete were so hospitable, nothing was too much trouble. The resident parrot entertained our twin boys for the entire stay! Chatting, having conversations and dancing - the parrot that is! The was something else, taking us back to our childhood with chopper bikes, Roland rat and so much more. I feel I could go on and on. Highly highly recommended on food, ambience, decor, hospitality the lot. It truly put huge smiles on all our faces, a wonderful way to start off our mini break. Interesting and quirky village pub with a reasonable selection of beer. However, BEWARE of the food menu because they made a big mistake with my bill and didn't make any steps to rectify it. I ordered a bowl of chips (£5 on the menu) and asked if I could have a bit of cheese on as well. I was told that was no problem. It seemed to go on a tab, so when I next went to the bar to order another round of drinks and pay for my chips, I was told the chips were £14!!! I'd already eaten them by this stage, but I queried it and was told by the barman that yeah, that was the price and his colleague said that it was the evening menu. I queried again, and the barman kind of looked uncomfortable and said it was out of his hands, the kitchen puts in the price. I ended up paying because it was pretty clear I wasn't going to get anywhere, but I think that I ended up paying for a different menu item, 'loaded fries' but with barely any of the toppings on. So yeah, if you do get food, make sure you either order food at the bar so you can pay before the food comes out and make sure they are charging you for what you ordered, or ask for an itemised bill to make sure they haven't just made it up. Might go in again for drinks, but won't be ordering food again. The food was great, and the chef was very attentive. It was hard to find a member of staff when we came to pay, but other than that, no issues. The is not going to be to everyone's taste, but as far as I'm concerned you can be as garish as you like as long as the food is good! A place to enjoy a meal. Quirky, relaxed, fab atmosphere. This is definitely not your average pub. There’s always a friendly atmosphere, the service is excellent. I would highly recommend a visit. I run a B&B in a nearby village and always recommend this establishment to guests. I’ve never had any bad feedback. The atmosphere and theme is brilliant and very imaginative. The food is always served quickly and well presented and portion sizes are always good. What the owners do by hosting biker gatherings and events is for the community and I believe is the right thing to bring people together also allowing my self and my partner to hold our car themed gender reveal with 30 plus people was amazing and every single person that came loved your pub and food everybody had something positive to say. I’m looking forward to mine and my partners next meal with you. Wow what a find. This place is amazing! Very quirky and unique and so much imagination has gone into the setting. A place to enjoy a meal and switch off from the outside world. The cheesecake was incredible and the burgers were very tasty. Definitely a thumbs up from us and can't wait to go back when they have live bands over the summer.
