Enjoyed a couple of drinks here whilst waiting for our holiday accommodation to be ready. were really friendly, drinks reasonable value. Garden was nice, but perhaps more shady areas/umbrellas could be offered on really sunny days? Sunday roast- really belly pork, roast potatoes need to be smaller and cruncher, selection of vegetables but Yorkshire pudding was stale. Needed to ask for more gravy, gravy was good though. We will try again in the future and hopefully we will have a different experience. In respect of the they are attentive and the food is served quickly What a pub! The food was so delicious, we had an issue with something that was ordered but this was corrected and the were so so lovely. Really and welcoming place, chatty and made the vibe great, I didn't catch any of their names unfortunately! The space is really beautiful, very high ceilings large windows and a huge garden. Lots of parking too. play area for children as well, if you're going to Cheddar Gorge it's only a short drive and probably a lot better value for money than going to a pub in Cheddar Village :) Ad hoc stop on our journey and ended having the best meal in a while! Lamb Koftas, came with perfectly cooked chunky chips and a side salad and coleslaw that was a solid 9/10! They were gracious and attentive, overall wonderful service. 10/10 would recommend:D Really and the pub itself is inside. There's a great garden too, with a little playground perfect for keeping the kids entertained. The food is very good indeed and the portions were really generous. More than worth the money. I'd highly recommend and will surely be back soon. Stopped by for a drink as the pub looked like a quaint country pub. The pub offers lots of parking, free of charge. The bar area was and clean. The bar & restaurant were very and smiley! They asked if us we were stopping by for lunch or just drinks & on this occasion, just drinks. The waitress recommended a table with views looking over their garden with a play park for children. The waitresses even went above and beyond to check if the temperate was okay & if they could get us anything else. The dining area was clean & modern whilst keeping in touch with the character of the pub. Despite only having a drink, the menu had plenty of options & very reasonably priced. We hope to visit again soon! One of the best meals I have had out in a long time! Steak was cooked to perfection, gorgeous chips and a well chosen prosecco. What more can you ask for? The pub has been decorated beautifully for the festive season and the and chef were great. Thanks so much for getting the festive season started on a positive note, we will return. Excellent pub food at descent prices. The waitresses are good at their job and are very polite. The pub has been well decorated and has a warm atmosphere. The toilets have been decorated to a very high standard and are extremely clean. My wife and I judge a pub or restaurant by how clean the toilets are if they are poorly kept we don’t eat there! We had a super evening. The Inn was very welcoming and warm on a cold winter's night. Staff were attentive and nice. All our meals were good. Perfectly cooked chips.. delicious. Would definitely recommend Came for a Sunday roast, and I must say, one of the best roasts I’ve ever had. I couldn’t fault a single thing. Hats off to the chefs because it was incredible. The beef was outstanding and the vegetables were fresh and full of flavour. As for the front of house staff. They delivered our food and took our orders with big smiles, asked for any allergy’s, and were very welcoming. Could not fault this pub at all. We will definitely be back when we are next down. Highly recommend this local gem to everyone. Stayed at the campsite with is next to pub, and went for some lunch Saturday-we had the crispy chicken burger and was so and really enjoyed it. Then following day we fancied a cooked breakfast to keep us going for the day, we ordered the large and boy was it large couldn’t eat it all as was so filling!! Made sure we ate the sausages and bacon but just too much for me, and came with unlimited tea/coffee. were so and friendly, and made a fuss of our german shepherd, Dexter who enjoyed his sausage by the way!! Will definitely stay at campsite again, as that was as well, and will come back to Rodney stoke inn again. We was staying near by and came in with our autistic son. were and friendly. The food was delicious and they even made changes to suit our son food needs. We enjoyed it that much we went back twice. Would definitely recommend and come again.
