Sad story This was a quaint little stop. There is parking outside the walls but we didn't see it until after we parked across the street at the store. Anyway, this is a small educational stop featuring 4 rooms that display artifacts from the camp and information about the history of it. It is mostly in Germany, but easily translated. The attendant was outstanding and really tried to accommodate us and our lack of German. There is a walking tour, which I wish I could have stayed for. The attendant was willing to give the tour to us in English. If you are in the area and looking for some history then this is a great stop. Doesn't take long, but the walking tour probably would have added at least 45 minutes or so. Was veel over de bouw van het klooster, maar het concentratie gebeuren kwam niet goed uit de doeken. It is worth to have a short visit there. This small memorial/museum was very informative and the staff very friendly. If you are in the area, stop by for sure! Various governments took parts of the church and turned them into prison facilities. Both groups functioned side by side. Small town, young generation and respectfull the history. Perfectly place.
