Beautiful unspoilt beach. Long walk but worth it. Past banana plantations so interesting. What a beautiful quite beach. The sea is a little rougher and it's not touristic at all. The is heavy to get there. You need to a long through nowhere from which the last 5 km are over stones. Not accessible with a low suspended car. Bit of an experience to get to due to the dirt with lots of rocks, haha! The car survived ;) And we were happy we made the +/- 30min (to and from). A lovely, secluded spot. Not so many people and I’d say about 70% of the people there felt free to be completely in the nude. The is a natural one, of volcanic sand and with stones. Will definitely return when possible. Google maps will probably direct you to the roundabout in Puerto Mogan, the to Veneguera from here, has been closed. - Please see photos of the big rusty gates, with a sculpture of a tree. To get to Playa Veneguera, you’ll have to to Veneguera town, and commit to the alongside the barranco de Veneguera. This is a long, long bumpy journey. Will take approx 30 minutes travelling about 15kmh, any faster and you’ll wreck your car/teeth/back/marriage! Maybe all four. The is worth the risk. Wide, sandy, clean water, lovely. No facilities, No wifi, no mobile signal, no stress. We went back multiple times, it was that good. • Last 10km unpaved road.. it is feasible with small cars but slowly with patience • is very narrow in some poits, be careful • There is space for parking • I suggest to go with low tide, otherwise sea will take almost all the sand • Sand is extremely tiny... you'll find it everywhere once home • is unique and wild, it is worth to see and enjoy at list once • Not crowded... you could stay naked definitely • You can even camp and enjoy the night • No markets over there ... take whatever you need in Veneguera • We found microplastic all over the sand during the low tide as you can see from pictures. This is what we deserve. • We found many cigarette butts (seemed fresh) and trash ... It's a shame. To private property/properties in this remote right in front of the sea ... please take care. Beautiful secluded - through Veneguera turning right - the changes from tarmac into a track - it’s like this for 30 mins at 20kmh (advisable) unless your in a 4x4 - it’s really worth it for the views and the intimacy of a quiet which was being used by locals when we visited What a spectacular place. It's a dirt from 9 km. We did it with a small car but took our time. The waves were good for bodysurfing. At the left side of the you can climb on the rock we're a few flags are. There lives beautiful Andres in his rock cave, fully supplied. He offers us to see his stunning house with even a coffee. It was a very special occasion. Thanks a lot for the wonderful day! Went with high expectations and was disappointed. This was out of season: it might be better in the summer. The is drivable (normal dirt track) in nearly all places, but at the time we went, there was a section that due to large rocks was impassable with a normal car. Someone had tried and got stuck. This unfortunately left a 5km walk to the beach. It is a fine, wide bay, but the is nearly all pebbles (small patches of sand, which on the day of our visit did not include anywhere suitable for bathing). Massive earthworks going on a km from the shoreline, with dozens of diggers and large lorries - looks like the precursor for major development. So if you want to experience a wild place, you should perhaps do so before too long. But we won't be rushing back.
