It's not the newest facility and certainly not high-end equipment or facilities, but it has everything you need for both a nice workout and a relaxing experience. The locker room is less than the ideal experience, but it's serviceable. Anyone complaining has something wrong with their expectations because it only cost $5 for a day pass to workout and swim. For me, that's a great value. The weight room is sufficient, there's a cardio room with plenty of equipment, the is not freezing, the warm bath, and sauna help relieve aching muscles. The fitness classes are the best and only thing about this gym, given the multimillion industry that is fitness & healthy living is these days, it would be wise to do something to improve the services provided. They offer a information centrum where you can ask easely for any help, there is a small cafeteria where to buy from coffee or a cold water to sandwiches. It's that this complex generally exists. There is a gym and a big there. The water in the is warm, clean and a bit salty. Loads of things for (rings, kickboards erc) and the team allows to use it with no questions. The is not crowded and rather calm. These are the pluses. Minuses: the building needs renovation desperately; dressing rooms are terrible - small, dark, wet floor, toilets smell, no lockers (you just take all your stuff to the with you), of course no hair dryer; the instructors are unfriendly if you come with a kid - they allow kids to come only in summer and it seems that they can barely stand them. They do not allow them anywhere except for the main (if there is a free track) and one small part in the jacuzzi pool. They keep on inventing more and more rules and restrictions for your kid each new time you come. A couple of times my kid just burst into tears because of new restrictions that had not been given in the previous time. So, summing it up: this is the only in Arguineguin so you have no choice, but this place requires investment for renovations and definitely retraining/change of staff! It is now very cheap but I would be ready to pay more for a better quality. This is a very strange hall. The whole hall seems to be primarily reserved for others than the exercisers. Most of the tracks are used by those who are training to compete or getting private lessons by the personal. Then that person occupies alone one whole track, of course: they probably pay for their privilege. Then there are the children’s classes occupying both side tracks of the pool. So normally there are only two tracks for the public, one slow and one fast one, unless there is a children’s’ class, when there is ONLY ONE TACK for both fast and slow swimmers. What is most peculiar is that ONLY TWO PEOPLE ARE ALLOWED TO SWIM ON ONE PUBLIC TRACK, each on their own line. It is not like in most pools, where people swim in circle, one line up and the other down, making it possible for more than two people to swim simultaneously. This means, that if all other tracks are in use for the privileged people and two people already are on the tracks for common people, you can’t swim! If you try to go on one track as the third, you are attacked violently. And if you are in hurry and can’t wait for the track to be available, you have paid for nothing!
