A real sand near a lake. Small but cozy. The access to the lake is limited to two small ways in but it’s doable. The was rather cool on a hot (30 degrees) day and there’s quite many plants inside which some could really mind. And there are many boats in the as well which means you swim in between them. Overall cool surroundings even if small (5pm still quite crowded). There’s a little bar on a boat just where you go in the water. Great family swim place. Nice area, nice small beach, nice for kids, rubbish beans, and is facing west so you can enjoy the sun until late. A little dirty; broken glasses y charcoal. Not so much in the nature; near to a camping place. No facilities (shops, bathrooms, cafe, ice cream, etc) Die Badestelle am Weißen Strand Flakensee ist wirklich traumhaft! Der feine Sandstrand und der angrenzende Rasen laden zum Entspannen ein. Der Einstieg ins Wasser ist einfach, und das Wasser wird nur langsam tiefer, perfekt für Kinder und Nichtschwimmer. Mit einer klaren Sicht von bis zu ca. 2 Metern kann man hier wunderbar schwimmen. Besonders toll ist die Hängeschaukel, die für extra Badespaß sorgt. Die idyllische Natur rundherum macht den Aufenthalt perfekt. Ein weiterer Pluspunkt: Die Badestelle liegt direkt neben dem Campingplatz Erkner, was für eine bequeme Anreise sorgt. Really nice and place to hang out, we travelled to Erkner with the bike and then we ride to the beach. This is worth the drive (or possibly quite a bike trip) if you live in Berlin. The is sandy with some grassy areas, nice bits of both shade and sun. The is clean and lake bottom is sand (vs muck/algae) at least directly out from the area. It seems like a good place for families and saw a handful of dog owners. There is also a quaint walking path 'Strandpromenade' along the east side bank with a great view of the sunset. The strand is not so crowded and the is very clean. If you live in Berlin you will definitely need a car to come here but it is totally worth the trip. Great spot to spend the day, is really calm so you can also do some sports like stand up paddle or canoeing. Very nice place, but dogs are NOT allowed!
