Konnte hier Wissen auffrischen und mit neuen Eindrücken verknüpfen. Nice, interesting and small museum, friendly staff, beautiful place. I gave 4 stars and not 5, because - Everything - is only in German. There is not a single explanation in the exhibition in English or any other language. Very interesting too see a house where one of the most important German writers lived and worked in his retreats, but I would have liked to see more information on his relationship with the house and the region too, as most of the memorabilia present there is connected to Berlin, with very few pieces connected to Buckow and the house itself. Wer etwas zum Leben des Dicht- und Theaterehepaares wissen möchte, ist hier richtig. Bild- und Tonmaterial, Bühnenausstattung, Texte und Kunst sind reichlich vorhanden. Im Garten ist gut zu verweilen und im Museumsshop gibt es Literatur für Freunde der Lyrik des Dichters. Sehr spannender historischer Ort für die ganze Familie. Hier wird das Leben und Wirken von Berthold Brecht und Helene Weigel auch den Kindern näher gebracht. Das Haus am See ist (allein schon) einen Ausflug wert. Ich war bei einer Sonderausstellung vor Ort, welche eine gute Verbindung zum Schaffen von Brecht war. Und leckere Äpfel gab es gratis (wunderschöner Willkommensgruß) Bemerkenswert finde ich auch, dass der Parkplatz vor der Tür gratis Geburt werden kann.
