We came there at about 11pm for a cocktail or wine, but they refused to serve us because it was too late and they said it was a restaurant, not a bar. Fair enough, we just spent some time there admiring the view. Great hospitality. The staff were super nice. We came for dinner. But I bet the view during lunch is better. The pasta was fresh. The meat was hard and unflavored The dessert was the feature of our experience. Excellent traditional Italian restaurant. Don't expect a menu! The waiter will serve you a variety of appetizers, primi and secondi piatti, depending on what ha been cooked on that particular day. The food was delicious and traditional, even though I skipped one (out of six) servings. Fantastic - and what a great view. Worth the trip up the hill! This is a wonderful place. The lunch menu for 10eur is outstanding! The food is excellent, the wine comes from their vineyards on the hills. This is a must stop place. The staff is super friendly, speaks English.
