Great experience with Maneggio Sulcis! The booking process was smooth and easy, we messaged through WhatsApp and organised everything. Their are very healthy and forward, they're very happy to be outside and they're clearly enjoying themselves! We are intermediate riders (we can walk, trot and canter, but we can't jump) and we found the trek enjoyable and we felt safe on their as they never did anything unexpected. Lunch was extremely good and relaxing! Our only feedback is maybe to be a bit clearer with the timing of the plans, as we knew the trek was a 5 hour trek and our family was expecting us to be back around 16.00 (counting 6 hours from the start), but we were back later around 18.00, which was perfect for us, but less perfect for our family waiting. Otherwise all fantastic! Wonderful tour! The routes are incredibly scenic, with turquoise sea and crystal-clear water, and long beaches perfect for galloping. Everything a rider needs to be happy. I was here in early May — the weather was very changeable. The sun is already quite strong, but there's a cold wind in the mountains. So, essentials: sun protection and something warm to wear. The are exeptionally well-trained! Huge respect to Manolo and the team. The are super reliable, very responsive, brave, mentally balanced, enduring, and simply amazing! I had an incredible vacation in Sardinia and Sant’Atioco with Manolo and Nicola of Maneggio Sulcis Stables. The are lovely, very well trained, and affectionate. We rode many miles over the islands seeing the salt flats, mountains, historic archeological sites, lagoons with flamingoes, and the Mediterranean Sea. There was time allotted a few days for swimming in the sea and enjoying the beaches. Hot farm to table meals were provided and served family style. Manolo’s wife, Anna, prepared our delicious meals from ingredients grown in Sardinia. And she was able to accommodate my need for gluten free meals! It was a huge treat for me! This was an incredible horse trekking adventure. Manolo is very knowledgeable about the history of Sardinia and Sant’Atioco. It is apparent he loves his home and enjoys sharing its beauty, history, and sites with guests. This was truly an unforgettable vacation!! It was hard to say goodbye to our new friends and my lovely horse, Nora. We went for a 6 day ride during our vacation and we had a blast!! We quickly fell in love with the and the guides. We rode anywhere from 5-7 hours a day on the most gorgeous trails that ranged from walking up the mountains to galloping on the beach! After the ride, you go to dinner as a group, just like family, to some awesome dinner places with a variety of different food options! The are happy, healthy, and well cared for and we cannot wait to go back sometime❤️ Wonderful varied and scenic on lovely for a whole week. I recently had the pleasure of going on a week-long horseback vacation with Manolo and Nicola as our guides, and it was nothing short of amazing. Both Manolo and Nicola are incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about what they do. Their deep understanding of the and the area made every ride enjoyable, safe, and enriching. The were in excellent condition—well-trained, calm, and clearly very well cared for. The team clearly puts a lot of heart into their work, and it shows in every detail! The entire crew was professional and welcoming and made sure everything ran smoothly throughout the week. The terrain was stunning, with beautiful and varied landscapes that made each day unique. Whether you're looking for a short scenic ride or a full week of exploration on horseback, this experience is absolutely worth it. Their commitment to making sure everyone was safe and had a good time was their top priority. We went on a six day adventure starting in the morning and ending around 6pm each evening with a picnic at lunchtime which included authentic Sardinian cuisine made by Manolo’s wife. They took us around different parts of the island, through expansive landscapes with stunning views and beautiful beaches.
