Lovely campervan park , staff helpful and friendly great access for getting to Hook of Holland port the place itself is not bad but the atmosphere is far from relaxing,we were leaving with relief. The manager has obviously OCD, watches your every step with a very stormy face. the excess of prohibition signs and strange rules make the whole place unpleasant. You feel they simply dont like people. there is a cheaper and definitely nicer place in the area, go there, i didn't know about it before. Good clean site. In the detail there are only 3 working toilets and 4 showers but they are all very clean. Electric is .75 pkwh which is 25p more than any of the other sites we stayed at. No washing up sinks. Water, waste and toilet disposal all there. No issues with the chap that runs the site. We didn't speak to him and he didn't speak to us! The administrator is extremely unfriendly, charges people to leave, he has the final say, I strongly recommend not to come here! Awful place. Owner was rude & aggressive coming up to my van yelling at me. I was too frightened to leave my van after that & left at first light in the morning. I was going to stay 2 nights but moved to other a bit further out which was so much better & has a much better location right by a beautiful windmill. Just because we were going out to buy something, the arrogant and unreasonable manager and his wife drove us away directly, and we had not even been in for ten minutes! There are countless rules in the camp, a terrifying dictator, and 24-hour surveillance. The customer service is very poor. No welcome at all, just the man patrolling all the time, ready to tell people off should they do something slightly wrong. Even a sign in the toilets saying you can only dispense the soap once. It is a clean but the owners spoil it.
