I Had been for an outing for Frobury farm , and I must say it is a very beautiful place for , the atmosphere is so calm and peaceful, in between you can hear and see wild peacocks which really come close to you. There are 7 small lakes for for young as well as for adults , tackle and bait can be bought or rented at the farm for young fishermen to learn 😊 I would surely recommend this place for a family outing , Absolutely loved their Staff Teresa was so very cooperative and polite to guide us through , they even have a snack shop here managed by Duncan who is a wonderful person to collect all the information about 😊 absolutely loved this friendly place would rate it a multi visit for family outings 👍👍👍 Note: Please carry cash when visiting this place 😊👍 Visited twice and had mixed results. I would say that my lack of experience was the biggest factor. Fished the Specimen Lake both times, and there were plenty of good size fish. Just none that were willing to take a bite of my hook, despite getting fatter on the gourmet bait that they were clearly enjoying. Other anglers were pulling them out like pros. But not me, the class newby. Lovely setting for a day out of life. Going back soon to get humiliated by the clever scaley ones. There's a burger van there too! Great place. for all ages and experience. Great snack shack and on site tackle shop. Mine and my boy's first expedition. Lovely location and plenty of hungry fish caught. Nice people and some nice lakes. If I was to criticize it, I'd just say sometimes you get some disruptive groups of teenagers that might pick a peg opposite yours and start casting across areas you've already been casting to. Favourite lake at the moment is rickety bridge, seems like it's a relatively high stock so is great for pleasure for carp under 10lb. Amazing place. My little princess loves it. 5 minutes fishing, 10 minutes peacock feeding. For families for a little picnic also amazing. Brilliant! Great day fishing. Feeder done the trick for me.
