I stayed here for 5 days and fed many mosquitos my blood. It is heaven of mosquitos due to still water around Landal. Swinming pool is enjoyable but bound with defined time. Wifi is slow in the day time but it works well in the night. Washroom had issues with water sink. The park is in a beautiful location. But our house. It was disgusting! Dirty spots everywhere. Worn down furniture. And worst of it all the matras it should have been burnt instead of used. Red and yellow spots on that thing. By the way it was a Wellness house. 3 night 600 euro. Frond desk was trying to help but the people from the cleaning didn't speak Dutch or English so they cleant all the wrong things. While I was away and my girlfriend was alone in the house. A terrible start of what could have been a lovely weekend. Shame landal Shame! We have stayed 15 times in Landal Parks at least all over the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium. We have never been disappointed except this time !!! The cottages are very confortable. There is a lake nearby where you can walk or ride your bike. But... the staff is not welcoming and the cottage was not clean . Moreover , the swimming pool was closed during our whole stay and nobody gave us the information. Appalling: Poor grocery shop. No laundromat. Shop closed Friday when we needed lunch. Very poor selection in the shop and long wait for service. It was much better last year. Outrageous that the park had no laundromat and the nearby town neither, only very expensive laundry service. Amazing location very peaceful. The accommodation is good ours was a little rough around the edges. The service was hit and miss some staff were helpful others sarcastic and not accommodating We stayed in one of the larger newer accommodations right on the edge of the park and it was lovely! Modern, clean, stylish living area and fab terrace over the water. The water activities and cycle routes were great, and the cafe/restaurant is good. The pool is basic but a good size and clean. We were lucky enough to have a pretty clean house and didn't spot any pesky silverfish! The on site supermarket was terrible, they'd had issues with deliveries so the fridges were nearly empty every time we went in, we improvised with olive and crisp pancakes for tea. Surprisingly tasty, mmm. Maybe if your supplier has let you down, send one of your fine staff down to the local Jumbo to pick up supplies for us hungry guests. Just a thought. The kids loved Bollo the bear and the staff were patient with my appalling attempts at speaking Dutch.
