The kids playground area has been done up nicely with lots for them to play and entertain themselves. When it rains though, the area around the seating does get a big puddle rendering the seats useless and inaccessible A beautiful place to walked grandog with my grandies who enjoyed tge playground afterwards. Such a hidden gem! A good spot for walks, as long as you wear appropriate footwear! Very boggy and muddy autumn-spring. No problem most summers. There are numerous paths through trees, open field and past a lake. Fantastic view and sunset watching spot at the top of the hill! Also free parking, a kid's play area and benches for picnics (in the warmer months!!) Love this place, been coming since i was a kid. Lovely around. Very dog friendly..shame dog mess isn't always picked up but thats on the individual owners not the itself as there are plenty of specific dog poo bins available. Great for kids where dogs arent allowed in. If you enjoy the perception of walking on grass only to find your shoe buried deep in mud, this is the place to be. You get to learn where the soft spots are after a few visits. I usually around the 3 times along the edges resulting in a distance of about 4.5 miles. That takes me about an hour and a half and I'm a casual walker. Lots of space to be alone, it's popular for people walking their dogs as well. There's a car on the side and it's free and is never busy. There are these little islands of trees with paths through them dotted around the park, that make the walks more exciting. On the southern end of the park, there's a larger bit of forest with wide paths and a brook running through it and joining the Old River in the eastern direction. Great view at the top of the hill and the water front Great place to the dog, lots of space but does get really muddy after it rains Large open fields. Wooded areas suitable for short walks with or without dogs. My nephew likes to try and climb the trees. There are some ponds but they are covered with algae don't go near them. Wear Wellington's it gets boggy. A small car is free but has a bar to prevent vans and caravans. Really nice open space to take the dog for a walk, wooded paths, loads of blackberries and plenty of benches by the water to sit and relax. This time of year it is very wet and muddy. But the dogs loved it up there. Big open spaces to let your dog and of course yourself wander around and explore. There's even a beautiful lake and although I haven't gone all the way to the back of the yet, it looks like there's a wooded area to be explored. If the kids don't want to then there is also a play by the front car park. Great with lots of paths to around and ideal for a dog walk. There are a number of bins located around the which is nice. There are also a few benches to sit and enjoy the scenery. It’s lovely to see that they have planted so many trees. Ample free parking on site and a kids play area Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
