I was pleasantly surprised by Turkuaz in Waterloo – my sandwich was absolutely delicious and the service was good. What a hidden gem. The service is excellent, the food was superb and fresh, even the frites were fluffy and crispy. The place was not too busy when we visited, but they also have plenty of outdoor seating. I highly recommended this place if you're in the area. Personally,I would travel for 30 minutes for this food. Perfect atmosphere and delicious foods I strongly recommend this place. I am a nightmare customer. I can't speak Turkish, French or Flemish. I am a coeliac. My card payment was declined by my bank. The food was superb, particularly impressive was the very fresh and beautifully presented salad. Belgium is pricey for eating out, but the price was extremely reasonable given the high qual ity. Staff treated me well even though I could not speak there languages and were kind to me even when I couldn't pay my bill.
