We live a distance away. Just adopted a lovely Labrador. Whether visiting, volunteering, walking or adopting I thoroughly recommend this refuge. Kennels very clean, dogs all in good condition. There is a lovely English volunteer called Kate who was so friendly and helpful that we came away with a lovely dog who is a valued member of our family. Very great place. Picked up a wonderful little kitten here. Not easy to find but staff were very welcoming. I wanted to give them some old bedding and towels and expected a hard sell on taking an animal but was pleasantly surprised when that didn't happen! Wonderful people taking care of these dogs. Go.
