I visited this Centre Aquatique X'eau yesterday to get an overview of it to see if I wanted to join. For an aquatic center, they offer quite a bit. They have lap lanes, a "river" with a jetted area. If you opt for the spa portion you have an additional river area, a smaller where they offer low impact in-water elliptical, side bike thing, and leg raise machines. This is great for someone who is in recovery, joint pain, arthritis, fibromyalgia, etc. Additionally, the spa has a jetted area, jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, lockers, and showers. If you opt for the spa it is 549 euro. Some people say that is expensive. However, by doing this, you get access to the entire aquatic center. If you break the price down over the 12 months, it is less than 50 euro a month! The staff was extremally welcoming to me and with me still learning French and their English, we were able to communicate quite well. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for low impact training or those who are fish when in the water like myself! Decent place but a bit expensive Très belles prestations le SPA. For 9 euro entry, if you forget something in your car and need to leave and return, the reception lady gets angry and rolls her eyes as the bracelet only lets you in once, not a second time. Surely you should be allowed to collect your sunscreen from your car if you forgot it without the attitude of reception staff. On a 33 degrees day, the lifeguard did not want to put the umbrella up due to the wind (there was no wind). There is 1 umbrella for the entire area. The lack of shade is unhealthily. With all the rules and regulations at this pool, you’d think they would be concerned about skin cancer and protecting their customers. I never leave negative reviews, however given how rudely we were treated today it’s only fair. Last year you were allowed to bring a small bag with your lunch and sunscreen, now that is even banned at this pool. It is impossible to have a good time here, even in the Espace Bien-être for 9 euros. Very disappointing and will be driving to another town next time. En tant que Cognaçaise et ayant passée tous mes étés à l'ancienne piscine, je peux vous dire qu'elle était mille fois mieux que la nouvelle... il n'y a plus de grand bassin le loisir, plus de plongeoir et surtout le tarif est aberrant. le prix allez aux Antilles de jonzac. Le cadre et l'accueil est bien meilleur, piscine a vagues, labyrinthes, piscine a bulles, toboggans, espace nageurs, intérieur et extérieur. Et on peut y passer la journée ! A cognac la nourriture servie a bien diminuée aussi en qualité par rapport a avant. Je finirais par dire que le toboggan intérieur est beaucoup trop dangereux et inadapté. Je parle au nom de ma génération (25 ans). Tous mes amis pensent la même chose. Super piscine familiale. Avec des horaires d’ouvertures larges. Une belle partie les enfants. Mais surtout des vestiaires/wc/ douches très propres. Un personnel chaleureux à chaque instant et dès la billeterie. Nous sommes de Saintes et n’hesiterons pas à venir plus souvent car nous ne sommes absoluments pas satisfaits de celle de notre agglomeration. Great pool. Je suis des cours aquatonic ou aquafitness ou Pilates . De bons professeurs très qualifiés... Et je viens avec mes petits enfants , il y a vraiment un espace privilégié eux ... Que du bonheur !
