Loved it .great fun lots of riddles and in english and french .. Lots of activities for the kids, including a rope bridge and pirate quiz. Not much for the adults. Very beautiful chateau, but you have limited access to the interior. Signs are in English as well as French. Fun activity for all to do the treasure hunt for clues. You receive a certificate at the end. Really enjoyed this. We went on a Saturday, transferring between two holiday camps. It’s basically a 30-stage pirate themed treasure hunt, set in a small but very pretty castle and its garden. The puzzles are really varied, from obstacle course challenges to problems to solve. We did it with 2x adults, 2x 6 yr olds and 1x8 yr old. Some bits were too hard for the 6 yr olds, but not too frustrating with some parental help. Most of it is well translated, but there’s the odd bit where there’s no translation or it’s done a bit strangely. Didn’t spoil it and I think there’s an app which would help, but I prefer to put my phone away for stuff like this. The staff were really helpful and we had a very jolly 3-4 hours there, including our picnic. There’s a snack bar with drinks/ice cream, a bit of food and coffee from a MaxPax type machine. That suited us fine as we’d bought a picnic and there are tons of nice shady picnic benches. Most of the treasure hunt is in shady outdoor areas, so it’s a pretty smart option on a hot day. You’re not just roasting in the sun as you would be visiting many attractions. Overall, would recommend. Maybe a bit expensive at €70 for 5 of us, but that just seems to be how much things cost. Beautiful castle from the oustide, the inside was very bland. It is definitely targeted towards kids as the whole castle is centered around a pirate themed tour. It is a recommendation to visit with kids, otherwise I wouldn’t recommend visiting as you have to pay €16 entree fees. It's amazing ! I love this place. The castle is beautiful in itself and the gardens are really nice as well. The story with the riddles is part of beauty of this place. Everyone can enjoy it even though some riddles are made for younger children (7-8 years old). This was really fun! As a family of 4 (two boys 7+9) really enjoyed it. We took a picnic and spend a good 4 hours there! The boys got a pirate diploma at the end. Enjoyable quest around the castle. Children 6 and 8 were the perfect age. Most areas with english translation which was helpful. Fairly expensive for what you get hence 4 stars Fantastic children's treasure hunt in french and English. Be aware the 27 clues are spaced over a couple of miles of woodland walks which are delightful. Lovely shady walkways through mature woods ending up at the house. The clues can be tricky too, so not a complete walk over either. Best treasure hunt we have been on, here or UK. Staff delightful Only 4 stars as the food available is limited to panini...crepes...ice cream at a single place but your kids will sleep well afterwards.
