Minulla oli sateesta johtuen aikaa selata lehtisiä ja kävi ilmi, että oikeastaan kaikki lehtiset kertoivat Krakovan alueesta, eivät Zakopanesta. Zakopanesta oli vain pari karttaa. The women in this office were so rude and unhelpful that I regret not getting their names so I could have "named and shamed" them publicly. My husband and I had never been to Zakopane and were desperately looking for some advice and suggestions for things to do. When we approached the counter, in two different places, because we couldn't get anyone's attention, the woman on the computer yelled that this was a tourism office and, therefore, she needed to type emails and we needed to wait. When she finally decided to approach us, she offered absolutely no advice. If we didn't ask the right questions, we didn't get any information. Since we didn't know what to ask, we left with a map and literally NO information. Don't bother going into this office for anything!!! Go to the internet and get any help or you need because you surely won't get it in this office. A tourist destination like Zakopane should be ashamed for employing people like this. We visited this city for a day to decide if we wanted to return for a longer stay. Due to our mistreatment here and the lack of we got, we cut our stay 3 hours short and will never return. The guy was pleasant and helpful, provided us with the comprehensive info about both city attractions and hiking routes. M'ha contestat una senyora que em podien donar un mapa de Zakopane però els mapes de s'han de pagar. Li he dit que no necessito mapa de senderisme, perquè vaig amb una app GPS (de senderisme, òbviament no google maps). He tornat a preguntar que si em recomanaven alguna ruta i m'han dit que "les rutes fàcils" perquè a la part alta hi ha neu i es necessiten sabates de (òbviament en porto) i equipament especialitzat. No m'ha anomenat cap "ruta fàcil" en concret, ni me l'ha assenyalat al mapa (això hauria requerit aixecar-se de la cadira) de Zakopane. Evidentment en cap moment ha ni tan sols mencionat Morsie Oko. Aleshores com que he vist que no em donarien cap informació sobre rutes de senderisme, he preguntat si tenien horaris de bus per anar a pobles propers. La resposta ha estat que l'estació d'autobusos estava sortint a mà dreta. Cap suggeriment d'on anar, tampoc. Afegeixo que en cap moment m'ha mencionat cap museu o atracció turística que pugui visitar a Zakopane, i això que he començat dient que estaria aquí 4 dies. Lamentable atenció al públic.
