Had a fantastic day with a simply spa last week. The were so friendly and welcoming throughout the day. We had a very good relaxing followed by a light lunch. There was lots of choices for lunch. See photos and the food was lovely. We then used the spa facilities that were clean, there were hairdryers in the changing areas and we made use of the mini spin dryer for our swimming costumes. I would highly recommend coming for a treat. The ladies doing the massages were lovely, I felt very comfortable and relaxed. The its self was just flipping great !! Visited the Spa as a Christmas Treat for me and my partner. We were met with the most wonderful young receptionist (we didn’t catch her name!) who ensured our was great throughout. Our were fantastic and relaxing, followed by a dip in the pool and Jacuzzi where we spoke with others who were also enjoying a Christmas treat! The setting was fantastic. We were treated to lunch which was delicious (the home cooked ham was fresh gammon!). A very well run establishment and Spa Day, fantastic value and a setting you can’t beat. All the are always friendly and fun. Visiting the Castle Spa hair salon is more than a hair cut; it's a therapy session too! I felt very let down by Castle spa. I was given a spa day as a gift, and as a busy mum of a small toddler, was very much looking forward to it! Upon arrival I discovered that the jacuzzi was broken, which was a shame, but I appreciate these things happen (however having spoken to members, it certainly wasn’t the first time!) There was also an aqua aerobics session on which meant I couldn’t use the pool for part of my visit. Apparently this is emailed along with the itinerary, but as a gift i did not receive it. I was also booked in for a 50min treatment, but the therapist was running 10mins late (no apology) and i was in the room for just under 45mins. I was on the table for just over 30mins. I contacted the spa, and over 48hrs later received an insincere apology for the jacuzzi/pool (fair enough), but was fobbed off re: the treatment. I will not be returning, and i would not recommend the spa to anyone. As a very kind gift it makes me very angry that i was treated with little respect and had such a bad experience. I am happy to travel a two hour round trip to come to this salon, the body treatment is amazing, even Ragdale Hall can't top this one, and I've been going there 3/4 of my life! Can't recommend Lucy and her girls enough, Lucy's high standards in training makes for each of her to be equally good. A small but perfectly formed salon with an equally good bistro to fall into afterwards when your so zoned out you need a moment! Absolutely amazing! The were lovely and friendly, the were fabulous and the lunch was great. All at a reasonable price. The spa itself is simple - a lovely big pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. The restaurant is very nice and the spa just can't do enough for you. Kirsty, Emily and Jazmin all deserve a special mention. We were well looked after and had an amazing day. We'll definitely return! Lovely relaxing want to share my from yesterday's visit to the spa with two family members to celebrate a special occasion. We were looking forward to a relaxing day and spent $220 on our package. Initially, everything seemed fine upon arrival However, our took a turn when we started using the facilities. While we were pleased with our treatment, the loud conversations from other guests completely disrupted the tranquil atmosphere we were hoping for. The situation worsened when we moved to the pool area, which became crowded with children right at noon, just as we began our package at 11. This noise made it impossible for us to unwind and enjoy the time, ultimately ruining my mum's birthday celebration, as we couldn’t relax as we had anticipated. Isn’t a spa supposed to provide a peaceful environment where customers can enjoy what they’ve paid for Additionally, I was disappointed with the limited selection of food and drinks. For the amount we spent, we expected more variety and better options. Also the service from the waiters too, they lacked smile and enthusiasm and manners ! Overall, it was a significant letdown, and I hope you can take this feedback into account. Visited Castle Spa with my best friend today and we both enjoyed the hour long Dermlogica facial with Lucy and Alex. We had booked the alongside each other and we were not disappointed. Wow! We have both had facials many times both home and abroad, but our today with Lucy and Alex are up there with the best! Everything we had hoped for and wanted. We both felt so relaxed and our our skin looked fabulous. With an Indian head with shoulders and neck included plus hand and arm it was hard to decided our favourite bits. Massive value for money and just a lovely time.
