What a lovely place. Accommodation was very nice, clean, comfortable and warm. Very nice site, very clean. Fishing lake is rather impressive apart from rather weedy bottom. Could do with a lot removing and trees overhanging the pegs could do with a trim as they hinder casting in some areas. The pub is very nice. The food is only available 6-8. Would be better 5-8 or 6-9. Menu Could do with a couple of regular items. A few burger meal options would be nice. The park at night is rather dark, especially the Meadows area was very dark indeed. The sites phone reception isnt the best. Could benefit from having wifi across the park even if it was at a cost per stay. Staff are all pleasant, polite and helpful. Will definitely be booking again. We only stayed for 1 night as a last minute quick getaway, we’re so glad we chose to stay here. So peaceful and picturesque, we loved walking around the grounds. The campsite facilities are amongst the best we’ve ever used, clean, modern and spacious. I can’t recommend this place enough, I can’t wait for our next visit. Good caravan park. Lake view with tourer, first class shower and toilet block. Good Cafe on site, full English breakfast good price and quality. Very pleasant staff all round. We will be back soon.
