Lots for the to do ages 2 to 14 years nice cafe very busy place we went for a once the had played for about 1hour 15 mins two separate spaces for parties they had a choice of food sausage and nuggets and fish fingers and then a tub of vanilla ice cream and if you're host has a cake 🎂 they cut it up and you sing happy obviously then if you're lucky you get a goody bag we did it was parking outside very convenient 👍 Grandsons it was catered for and the were friendly and helpful but room could do with a bit of decorating I was pleasantly surprised that there’s no limit, unlike many other soft centers. My daughter absolutely loved playing here and could enjoy herself without feeling rushed. A place for to have fun! are useless. They dont pay attention to the older taking over the baby and toddler area. I had to ask them twice to remind me where the baby was! And if they thought the in it were age appropriate! After umming and scratching their empty heads they pathetically asked the to move. They didn't. When I mentioned a refund they finally got them out. Please dont waste money here! Lovely staff. My young one really enjoyed it. Very suitable for 1-5 year olds. Reasonably nice coffee for the adults. If you want your to be ill then think no more head yourself here not to mention toilets This is one of those places 'get what you pay for' for 2 adults and a 4 year old £11 (No where close to that price anywhere close for that price) foods pricey and mediocre at best same with the tea and coffee which is abit of a let down. But for value for money it's a really good valued place to let your little ones burn energy off with the cost of living we are currently in! Extremely overpriced entrance fee. £8.50 per child. Upon entrance the place had an awful smell, member walking around spraying air freshner. Actual size of the is tiny. Not worth the price. Toilets were absolutely disgusting I’ve never seen mould like it and especially in a environment. Such mould spores are a hazard to health. Filthy place I’d rather wet myself than use a toilet in there ever again. Overpriced, rude staff, absolutly stinks, main slide only opens for 15-20 mins even though are stood around doing nothing, £8.50 per child is a rip off is really small. So many local places better than this. Went for the first today was ok. Please watch your belongings though. I left without my little girls my carry travel potty (cat one) which was a bit marked/ had specific dents on it. When I returned literally 15 minutes I couldn’t find it any where. Looked over to see it under the next tables chair. I asked if it was hers and she was a bit shocked a was like oh i don’t think so I think it’s the sister in laws 😏. (It had been on top of the table we was sat on so not even like I had left it near there chair/ table) needless to say I said it’s my little girls picked it up and walked out - informing on the way ( I know it’s not the companys fault and it’s my own fault for forgetting it but who on earth steals a potty!! They didn’t even have any intention of giving to the - I know they cost £30 but come on! It wasn’t even in the best condition) Any way the soft plays seemed a bit outdated and could do with a refurb/ deep clean. Not much balls in the under 4’s area. We only stayed for 30 minutes as the got bored quite quickly. Would definitely recommend travelling a bit further to other soft plays near by. We won’t be returning again. Arrive at softplay at 10:30 with 4 kids, greeted by 6 or 7 huddled round the only way in. Already uncomfortable. My 6 year old is autistic and when entering I mention it to the so that they can be aware to prevent him climbing the gate and exiting. The response I receive was ‘there’s only so much we can do, he’s your responsibility’ which is fine and standard. I then proceed to spend £40 on entry and squash, only to spend 30 minutes straight trying to prevent my son from getting in their kitchen. One of their (presumably the manager) actually paid attention to him and helped with my preventative measures, much to her discomfort and frustration. The other 5/6 just stood around the entire time; except actually when my son threw 3 balls out of the ball pit, one of them was on us like a flash telling me not to allow it (presumably because it meant that the would then have to do something other than stand around) My question to planet is this…have you considered hiring based on their willingness and enthusiasm to work with children, rather than their willingness to work for minimum wage? We go to softplay at least once a week. This is the worst that I can remember going to. Oceans of in Havant, for example, had 2 on and 1 of them was more than willing to assure me that my autistic son was safe. We went yesterday and had a time. The girl on the till was lovely (didn’t get a name!) Only downside is that it could do with a deep clean. A lot of heavy dust in some areas. It’s a lot cheaper than some of the other soft plays we’ve been to and has a lot more to do! A really soft area, love that the cafe allows you to sit in the middle. We had our 5 year old there and it worked well, however the service was not great. It seems they went out of their way to make the whole thing as awkward as possible. Ie: not allowing us to come in to decorate until 15 min before the time, but then allowing guests in 3 min later (10min earlier than start time) meaning we had to host and decorate! Then they had some weird rules around food: we had 2 invitees whose parents had paid for siblings to use the soft - they were allowed in the room, but not with food purchased at the cafe!!! Then, without this being explained, we were told at the last second that were not allowed to eat the cake on the premise. This was after being offered to cut said cake in their kitchen - at no point did they mention the fact that we could not then eat the cake! All these silly rules made it particularly awkward for us hosting - I was booed by a room full of who had been told cake was coming!! We also could have done with a little more guidance in terms of what was provided and what was not. Food was served in take away trays with fish and type wooden instruments when I expected decorated paper plates and cutlery - if I had known, I’d have provided. Not a single veg in vue as part of the “meal” - I’d expect this in a normal meal. The room was pretty bare with tables not laid out for a meal as I’d have expected. Very strict rules around decorating. A little bit of customer service common sense would be needed to make this place a big recommendation for parties. As it is, it was disappointing and I wouldn’t recommend. Abysmal customer service, as usual. Equipment is filthy. (particularly management) are rude and very unhelpful. It's been this way for years but sadly I end up returning as it's local and the admittedly like it. I do refuse to spend a penny more now on the rubbish coffee or food that they will not adapt In any way. I ordered a meal last and asked if they could swap (my son won't eat) for an extra nugget or two and they refused. I'll probably return under duress, but eat before you come and bring your alcohol gel!
