There's also a dedicated children's play park. benches dotted around to if you need a rest or just want to chill out for a bit. A well maintained small which benefits from links to walkways. Lovely walking and space. So peaceful. Lovely walking and space. So peaceful. Almond is a treasure trove for a nature lover. You can the Shale Trail or small footpaths or skip across stones in the Almond river. 🦆 Ducks, birds, deer🦌 , squirrels 🐿 …and fat slugs in every shade of the human skin! You could also along the course from the almost still surfaces to the crashing rapidly-moving flow. Almond is a great place, a lovely long along the almond. In any weather the is a hidden gem in west lothian. With play areas for kids and a visitor centre with a few nice displays and sweets and ice creams. Very tidy and well kept too. A good place for a day out. Bellissimo questo parco Nice place for lots of views and good for a decent and get those step counts up. Spark event was awesome Great along almond park. Plenty lovely spots to sit and take in the lovely scenery we have on our doorstep. We go out walking every day in our local park. If you enjoy fishing you can buy a permit and fish for trout. Great for running and cycling. Or taking your kids sledging. Great day out. Perfect for you and your dog The is great in places. Too many shopping trollies and bikes in the along with crisp packets, cans and bottles from a mindless minority in the woods. The community does a great job trying to minimise the negative impact. On a lovely evening you can almost forget and imagine you are somewhere where everyone cares... Almost. Reasonable place for a but not particularly exciting; better if you have really good weather and are looking to have a picnic. Not sure about some of the stainless steel seating that is dotted around. Some bits have been vandalised or seem to have been used as makeshift barbecues, which is a little sad. There's a cascading set of ponds that seem to be intended to promote wildlife but looked a bit of a work-in-progress when we visited. Only parking seems to be at the rugby club. Wether well camp or picnic it's a beautiful to along with great historical signs of interest Not happy. They have took away the green spinning thing near the flying fox. Everyone loved it, it wasn’t even damaged. This is terrible. BRING BACK THE GREEN SPINNY THING!!
