Scoring low as baby section was absolutely disgusting looking, I could see the filth on soft sections and on the ball pit balls from 3m away, not sure when they were last cleaned or replaced. There were also lots of older children were in the baby area without staff intervening which is another safety issue. I did not feel as if I could safely allow my baby to there. I took my son here as it was closer to family. It was our first time going and I won't be returning. Very expensive for what it is. £8 for an hour and a half and the place isn't very big. Not only that's but it appears that the adults are charged entry too as it came to £10.50. My son had new white socks on and they were covered in dirt by the time we left. Not the cleanest of places. Also it is sign posted all over that you cannot bring in or consume food that is not purchased from them...which I find shocking. So I would definitely avoid coming here as it's just set up to get as much money from you as they can. Fantastic Birthday for my granddaughter Leah, the hive is a great place for sharing the celebrations, so good to catch up with family, happy man the night, ❤️😁😜😎☓ I took my my girls to this soft today , what a state, I’ve been to many soft plays over the last 7 years but this has to be the dirtiest place , babies are supposed to here ? I don’t know when was the last time it was cleaned. I take my little girl on a regular basis when I am not working and I have to say out of all the softplays I have been ever to this place totally exceeded my expectations the staff are so courteous & polite they even had my set order before I was signed in and seated. If ever looking for a clean and safe space for your do not hesitate just go. Will be letting some of my new friends know about here aswell. 10/10 all the way Mr w carmichael Great day out with my granddaughter. Food was delicious reasonably priced and homemade. The staff hardworking child friendly and polite. The place was spottless Loads of fun. My granddaughter loves it. I come to Hive often and I used to love it. The prices are absolute madness now. I am just under £18 for 2 for 1.5hrs then a further £4 for a bang average coffee and then on top of this it is £1.00 per adult. It is small, and the do get bored after a while but you can deal with that if it wasnt so expensive. I have started going to Five Sisters softplay as they only charge £12.00 for both my and the coffee is a lot cheaper. It is a shame, as Hive was an "every weekend" thing for my daughters.
