Small cute waterfall. Easy to access by walking. Nice walking from the public parking. Quite crowded in December. Absolutely delightful spot with a small waterfall and dreamy lagoon feel. The is invigorating and such a gorgeous shade of turquoise blue you almost have to see it to believe it. The car is a 5 minute walk from the water, and the road down is a hiking trail that may be difficult for small children or those with disabilities. I recommend paying for the - it’s less than €5 and saves you walking an extra half an hour in the heat. There are public restrooms at the area. Free entry for the most picturesque river and rock pools. The is freezing. Be sure to bring watershoes and a picnic to eat as there are no restaurants. Not good for the elderly or those who cant walk ably. Plan for about 2-3hrs. If its local, great. Its free. Limited facilities (toilets are portaloo at the top of a steep hill) Theres a free car a 20 minute walk away, amd one for 5 euro that is a 5 minute walk away. If travelling from, say Torrevieja, fonts d'algar maybe a better option- same distance, you have to pay, but a lot more facilities and its a lot bigger. Worth it!! But RESERVE TICKETS BEFOREHAND! We felt like around every corner was another surprise. Gorgeous. And we went during high-season. Entrance is €1 per person. On Google Maps put “aparcamiento de Salto del Usero” and that’s the entrance point to show tickets, etc. If you paid for (€5) you can drive up the road another 1.5km and you can like 150m from the (worth it, especially if traveling with kids) As far as food and beverage: You can eat in the lot, but by the you can only bring bottles with you. We were pleasantly surprised and would high recommend Really important to book in advance! It’s a small site - I guess around 500m of paths and just a few natural bathing pools. They limit numbers for a reason, so when extra people blag their way in - as they did at our session: “We’ve come so far, we didn’t know!” - then the space gets too crowded. The is incredible, ice cold, pristine. The waterfall is beautiful and the place feels magical, despite the crowds! The only other negative is the filthy portaloos in the car - absolutely disgusting at 10:30am, since it only opens at 10am it must have been days since they’d been cleaned… Very poor from staff and management. But even if man is vile, nature is very beautiful here, and well worth a visit. Amazing place! I recommende to check tickets at least 24h before visiting place as on high season it might be sold out. They regulate amount of the people that can come. There is lot close to waterfall that will cost you 5€ and there is free parkin a bit further too, but then you need to walk like 15-20 min. Really good we loved this! We tried to go to ‘Pasico Ucenda’ as it looked good on Google but it was only a tiny spot with just to paddle. This one was so good with lots of little spots! Nice proper paved walkways and fences. The only thing is there isn’t a car park, so cars normally along the edge because you have to drive down a hill to get there.
