We came to visit a 'brocante' Market and everything was well arranged. The beautiful building is also inviting for a return visit. This review is about the festival given there named All We Want. It is a techno festival and the location is just perfect for that. Small, authentic & cosy. Superb vibe! Great events, food and beer are here. Well done medieval fest. This time I parked my car here. The staff is super friendly and will try to help you with everything that you need. Highly recommended! In summer the terrace is open for historic relaxation in a simple and rural environment. The enclosed (surrounded by walls) monastry contains the grave of Otto the second from Gelre. Very pretty old castle with a nice restaurant. Food isn't special (not bad!) but as a stop during a bike tour very welcome. Lots of free roaming animals like ducks, chickens, and peacocks. There was a wedding planned for the day we arrived there but that wasn't a problem for sitting down and relaxing. Very amicable staff and relaxed environment. Would come again! Beautiful building being lovingly maintained and restored. Lovely cafe with good prices and tasty food. A special thanks to BiBi (I hope I spelt that correctly) who made our visit even more special.
