Really like this place, starting with the visuals (interior deco with many awesome British details, trumpets as ceiling lights, funny jokes and wordplays around the pub and in the menu, normal tables and high ones), continuing with the menu choice (Big menu - which looks as a newspaper, btw - with lots of drinks, great choice of beer, food, snacks), and good service. Plus, often small concerts & events, and a big nice terrace during summer. + excellent food, music and overall atmosphere + Great selection of beers including local ones + Spacious - high chairs are a bit uncomfortable - smoking area is blocking the entrance when crowded The service was horrible. I ordered a beer 5 times and waited for over 40 minutes to get it. The waitress was slow, forgot orders, was all over the place, and quite rude to the customers. Later on, we ordered some food which luckily was better than the service 🙂. The music on the terrace was way too loud, we could not have a proper conversation without screaming in each other's ears. Too bad, cause the place had a great location and potential! Went for a jazz concert. Good variety of drinks, pub style food, although we did not order on this occasion. Good service. The shift manager saw it was crowded and gave us his space near the smoking lounge. Very nice place, a pub with good mood and good music. Excellent drinks and nice surroundings. The beer selection is a difficult task judging by the number of options, all of them refreshing and tasty. The food is also great. It's an ok place with good beer, but very loud music. If you are into loud music go for it. Fun place, it’s one of the few places in town where you can watch sports. Other than that it’s pretty bad: the food is mediocre and on several occasions I’ve waited close to 30 minutes to place an order when 3 or 4 staff are just hanging out behind the bar talking to each other and playing on their phones. Amazing experience, best food in Iasi, reasonable prices, great deals and good staff. Their gin tonic cocktails are also fantastic. Can't wait to go back! Fish & chips was to die for for. Fantasic.
