Super and lots of about the area. If you're visiting the town then the little tourist train stops right outside and gives you a quick overview of Saumur. It stops at the chateau for a picture stop too (and it's free in your birthday!) Collected plenty of for our next visit to the Loire.. Very , great service. Open at 9:30 and the assistance gave us info , brochures and map , even call the bus/train to get us info about time travel etc. Lovely staff, always very helpful. The attached wine store has a good selection at reasonable prices whilst the tourist office also has gifts and local produce available. And, of course, plenty of about what's going on locally. Excellent tourist office - always busy but plenty of to help and a little shop, too. Also has excellent clean (free) toilets. Great tourist with friendly staff, lots of leaflets and local and good clean toilets. They also have a wine tasting section just next door where they always have a variety of local wines open for you to taste for free with no obligation to buy. It's well worth a visit if you enjoy wine! We had an excellent experience of the Office's package for the Anjou Vélo Vintage festival 2024. This comprised surpurb accommodation, bike hire and entry to one of the organised rides, a boat trip past the majestic waterfront of Saumur, and a delicious lunch. Special commendation is due to Angélique; she was our main contact and coordinated the package. She was and friendly in all her communications, and she went out of her way during our stay to assist us. Excellent selection of literature, friendly and staff, plus free Wifi which is highly elusive in this area! Very friendly and even if you are only buying a pencil and a fridge magnet. We had a lovely experience here made all the more enjoyable by meeting Melissa who was so with & booking the town train and a visit to Bovet Ladubay winery for us.
