We went all the way down to enjoy the beach with our dogs ( tiny dogs 1.5kgs and 2.8kg) . First of all there is no board telling you that dogs are not allowed. So we were so happy to plan a swim, we get down from the top of the hill where is our hotel on foot . Went we arrive there we got whistle by a man who check the beach. Of course that very inconfortable since everyone look at you when u get whistle plus i didn't know it was for us cuz we never got that problem before. Really looks like they think that natural place such a sea belong to the human being? Or Human are cleaner then animals ? Well that is really low and sad old fashioned thinking. We left directly since our compagnons are members of our family, if they get kick of the sea so do we. 0 respect for others living beings don't worse the stop to us . Overcrowded in August. Almost impossible to find parking space for your car. Small, but comfortable beach and town! On July it’s very crowded, not very clean and noisy because of children and teenagers. There’s a shower with a cold tap water and two beaches where you may take a drink and to pay for a sun-bed and parasol The water is not too clear but at least the sand is fine and overall we had a nice time there 🙂 Fun, small, simple. Beach is a mix of sand and rocks. Great place for a swim. Casual family area. Easy and close walk from the train station. Public shower nice for a post swim rinse. Went in late August, was busy but not overly crowded. Had lunch at the Clipper which was great! Northern Italy does not have a lot of pretty beaches so this might be one of the better ones but overall not a very good experience. I would only recommend going there if you are staying very close. The area doesn’t look nice (in the water you can see quite a few big industrial ships), the beach is quite small and parking is not tourist-friendly. Two stars for the clean water Great for surfing when it's windy, easy to get to.
