The only thing that let it down was the shirt driving range were you weren't aloud to hit woods ☹️. We also had a fun round on the waterfall den, par 3 course, not greens but a bit of fun to kick off a society day. We even helped a fisher man land a huge carp🙂 Would definitely play again👍 Yes, the entrance driveway is long! Worth the drive though. We were hosted for a weekend break with a group of 24. One night's stay, 27 holes of on the first day including bacon rolls and 18 holes on the second day including a 2 course evening dinner. A set up which felt seamless thanks to the catering and bar team. As you expect we enjoyed the bar and it's offerings; a selection of drinks all served with a friendly smile. The bar area also offers two smaller rooms which include darts area/golf simulator and a pool/billiards room. fun and just what we needed to keep us all entertained. The accommodation was fine for our needs. It was clean, modern and well maintained. The courses were in condition, my favourite being the Codrington course. Lots of water involved compared with most courses which adds to the challenge. Many a ball became victim of a wet bath. The pro shops offers everything you would need. They have trolleys, electric trolleys and buggies all for hire. I paid £15 per day for the electric trolley. Practice facilities are more than adequate; lots of putting greens, small par 3 course, chipping area and driving range. Nothing better than using up all the shots during practice. Overall we all had a weekend and would like this to become an annual visit. Based around 30 minutes outside of Bristol you can also opt for a chilled out (read beer and curry fuelled) visit to finish your weekend correctly. Stayed here on business for three nights. The was clean & tidy. Shower was and had sky tv. Could do with a small desk in the I had as I use a laptop. The wardrobe only had one hanger which was a bit odd. The big breakfast was fabulous though the Caddy Shack where you eat it doesn’t open until 8am. The bar is with a large TV. course. Was actually quite dry underfoot considering what the weather had been like . Well worth a visit.. round of golf, the course had obviously experienced alot of rain over the past week but other than a few wet areas the fairways were and the greens excellent. £50 a round and worth it, I hired an electric trolley and it was worth it. Nice pint after looking over the 18th. Recommended. Idyllic location within the club. Small rooms but very clean and bathrooms with size shower. So peaceful at night! Overlooked a pond with a terrace to sit out on. value for money. For it's a venue for a few days with three courses, one being a practice course with holes under 120 yards. All courses were very well maintained with excellent greens, plenty of water to avoid on the Coddington which was very picturesque. Accommodation was brand new I had 30 which was lovely, the only problem I had was no matter how I tried I couldn't keep the water from the shower from flooding the floor and bathroom units so I don't think they will last very long. Bed very comfy, tv is Internet only and runs through the apps. Tea and coffee available too. Meals and service was excellent only thing I'd add is cereal fruit and muesli as a cooked breakfast every morning got a bit heavy after a few days. There's also a games and a few bars, it's a bit quirky but I enjoyed the complex and everything it had to offer. There's a nice 7kw electric car (zappi) charger on the wall to the rear of 30 which topped my car back up overnight for £20 pay at the bar and they put a code in to unlock it. Amazing course with a clubhouse to back it up. The course is set up with some challenging holes, ones where you can attack and ones where you must defend! The clubhouse was undergoing some work whilst we were there and I’m sure by now it is looking as as the rest. Had a day playing both courses. We enjoyed our lunch, and the went out of their way to help. I'll definitely be returning. The Codrington is quite a special course, in fantastic condition despite the weather. Hidden gem! Greens were in condition and the super helpful and friendly. Very friendly place with staff. service in the bar and food was wholesome. Accommodation was clean and tidy with enough at the annex we stayed in. The pro-shop was full of high quality clothing and all a price. The professional went out of his way to regroup my driver, 3&5 woods. Could not recommend him more highly. Stayed there over the weekend, the surrounds are a magnificent course close to Bristol, the venue is immaculate and the were welcoming and attentive and the food which was made to order due to our scheduling was excellent.
