Run by a husband and wife team, the zoo is for the love of animals. You can feed the foxes Mariah and Kimmi, the mongooses, and Daisy the raccoon. A special thanks to Emma. She helped calm my grandson after he got stung by a wasp. A nice animal park with very friendly and helpful staff. It's great that you can be so near to the animals. The seem happy, well cared for, and truly love the attention and being near people. We were three adults and an 11-year old boy, and everyone found some animal they really liked and had a good time there. Highly recommend! Great place indeed, but price wise it's a little bit on the expensive side. Just adding prices from Korkeasaari Zoo to compare. The kids admission price could be a little lower. Highly recommend! You can go inside the goat/sheep area and pet them 🥹. There's also some exotic like snake, tortoise and skinks! There's also a snack bar! Lovely pet park. If you like animals, you should go. There are birds and all kinds of animals. For those with bad feet, I would say that this is located on top of a rock. Smallish "zoo" offering a decent variety of to watch, pet and feed. So passionate about caring for the animals. The layout was so cool and the are in open large comfortable enclosures. Many can be held and petted! It started as a hobby now they have a whole small zoo. A really good one, you get closer to the then in a real zoo and it's more familiar. Recommended to visit of you are in the neighbourhood. The coolest animal was Viktor the 25 years old African turtle. One of the best zoos in uusimaa. The staff is wonderful and kind and you can really tell how much they love every single animal there. Henkilökunta todella mukavia ja asiantuntevia kun pitivät esittelyitä eri eläimistä. Eläimiä oli paljon erilaisia ja suurinta osaa sai myös ruokkia itse ja silittää, mikäli antoivat. Kaikkia eläimiä saa rapsuttaa ja kasvissyöjiä ruokkia lippukassalta saaduilla herkuilla, jotka kuuluvat hintaan. Pyynnöstä henkilökunta antaa silitettäväksi esim. käärmeitä tai parta-agamaa. Lampaiden laitumelle saa mennä kävelemään. Iso miinus on paikan vaikeakulkuisuus. Eläinpuisto sijaitsee mäellä. Kävelypolut ovat kapeita, epätasaisia ja kallioisia, joilla näyttää olevan vaikeaa työntää rattaita. Kaiteita ei ole ja penkkejäkin on vain pari. Myöskään mitään opasteita eläinten sijainnista ei ole. Kahvila on ja mahdollisuus omatoimiseen makkaranpaistoon. This past Sunday, our family had the absolute joy of visiting Lomamäen Lemmikkipuisto, and what a beautiful experience it was! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth, kindness, and lots of wagging tails! 🐶 This charming, family-owned petting zoo is a true gem nestled in the Finnish countryside. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful — speaking Finnish, English, Swedish, Spanish… you name it! Their passion for and hospitality made us feel right at home. We brought my father, who’s visiting from Chile 🇨🇱, and he was just as enchanted. He couldn’t stop smiling and was genuinely touched by the friendliness of everyone we met — both two-legged and four-legged! 🐓🐴🐑 🌟 Special shout-out to the dedicated Customer Relations Manager — the Golden Retriever — who greeted every guest with a wag of his tail and the professionalism only a very good boy can deliver.
