What a clean, updated room. A treasure in a quiet little town near Rothenburg. Very nice room, lovely staff, quiet, best hotel breakfast I had in my time in Europe. They have American-style drip coffee, which (as far as I have seen) is very rare. Edit: I didn't want to embarrass the here by gushing about how wonderful they were, but in retrospect, I need to speak up and not worry about making them blush. Not getting into too many details, Andrea swept in and saved the day when the 807 bus didn't arrive and I was stranded at the bus station with nowhere to go. I met 3 other young women at the bus stop who were stranded with no way of getting to their destination and nowhere to stay the night. We were prepared to stay overnight in the train station but Andrea saved the day. I still think about that experience and I wish Andrea (and this beautiful Inn) the best 💕💕 I was very happy to come across this place on my cycle trip in what felt like the middle of nowhere. Extremely friendly, helpful and attentive and a very low price. Exceptional food, staff very friendly and helpful nothing is too much trouble a little off the beaten track but that only adds to the charm of the place. I travel extensional in Europe particularly Germany and this is a long way up my list to visit again. I love it. Really good place to say, kind and friendly and really good food for at really good price . Great (special thanks to Andrea, such a nice person), great food at the hotel's restaurant (portions very well served) and extremely clear, spacious and new rooms and bathroom! What a nice place! We were doing the Romantic Route (Romantische Straße) and we stood for 1 night in this hotel... it feel like going back again and we will sure come back! :) I really enjoyed my dinner there on Sunday. I can’t remember how to spell the name of the dish, but this ha wild garlic (the leaves) and cheese as the filling on the bacon wrapped pork roll. I was excited to try the wild garlic leaves since wild garlic smells amazing. And needless to say, it did not disappoint. The food was amazing. The beer was perfect. And it’s a place I will head out of my way to eat at again.
