I was outside the gate with my baby in a buggy but watched the entire video. Later, when I tried to enter with my four-year-old, refused to let me in. Had I actually heard the instruction about needing to be inside the gate, I would have followed it. The were shockingly rude and lacking in basic courtesy. Instead of calmly saying something like, "For insurance reasons we do need everyone inside the gate, but if you can take five to rewatch the video, we’d appreciate it and then you can go in," they launched into a confused back-and-forth: “Ooh not sure if you can go in… need to ask the manager… yeah we need everyone to watch the video… but you had to be inside the gate… yada yada yada.” I witnessed around 70% of parents there complaining about one issue or another. It's appalling. I won’t be returning. If the rules are truly that critical for safety, there should be a clear test or confirmation process before entry. After the entered the room, there was less than half an hour to serve food to 18 children, allow them to eat, and cut the cake. This felt very rushed. I believe allowing at least 45 for eating, packing up, and organizing would be far less stressful, even though it might stretch the schedule. After all, it is a party. Being pressured to leave because another was scheduled right after ours felt a bit off. While we understood there was a need to transition, managing 18 children under the age of 9 without sufficient cake slicing equipment or assistance was like herding cats. Instead of urging us to leave, offering a bit of help would have gone a long way. It seems parties often run late because the allocated is insufficient. Perhaps this is something to consider improving in the future. Unfortunately, based on this experience, l don't think we will be booking for a again anytime soon. While the food was and the enjoyed it, there is only 30 allocated for the to be up to the room, sat down, served and eat all while trying to do cake. It was all very rushed! We got the room just as they were called for the food (it was empty when we arrived just not cleaned until last minute) and 25 later there was a member in cleaning while the were still eating!
