Although the building might be knocking on in years, it has plenty of character. The staff were extremely helpful and I look forward to returning. Been here all my life and has what you expect from a working man's club, could use an update on the interior but staff are friendly and polite, drinks are cheap. We went for a private party room is a decent size. There was an act on in the next room it sounded good. Had a night with the family Top,top class entertainment. Great atmosphere and first class facilities. Really affordable prices behind the bar and staff and committee so helpful and friendly. Nice social club, great atmosphere and very nice patrons They also have plenty of different events during the week like karaoke night and plenty of live music in the concert room What an excellent venue for a celebration. I go few times per year to see certain acts, its clean and bar is prices, staff aren't the friendliest but overall its place, shame you have to down and upstairs to buy bingo tickets 3 times, during acts. Dont see why you can't but all at once or sell them upstairs in main room. Nice friendly welcoming beer is excellent always something going on a day and night for anyone toilets are well kept and a lift available for anyone with a disability It's a pretty relaxed and friendly club all welcome reasonably priced beer cheaper than some pubs in town that's a bonus.
