The picture isn't redcar it's saltburn pier But both places have there own beauty and talking points Been going here since was a kid and my kids and there kids and nice to see the this clean again the boating lake has opened up again all it needs now is the walzers and cyclone twist and that back like the good old days and huts like saltburn has Fantastic beach. Recently restored after several years of lying abandoned and it is very well done. A great old boating lake with boats for hire including a small fleet of electric boats (such as "Boaty McBoatface"). Great for taking a slow spin around the lake with the kids. The island in the lake (accessible via a bridge with flights of steps) hosts other attractions such as water based Zorbs and trampolines. The cafe provides excellent coffees & teas and baked treats & cakes. The whole site, which is free to enter, is sunken and walled to reduce the effects of the wind off the sea. However, combined with it being originally built many years ago, the is not wheelchair accessible. The cafe does have a toilet with baby changing facilities and there is road based pay parking for cars. And, of course, the beach. Dirty haven't ever seen any one sunbathing but good place to take your dog Stunning right next to the Tingdene site. The caravans are spacious and well spaced. Plenty of amenities in Redcar - and friendly folk! Went with friends quiet on sea front an beach. Oscar my dog loved the not to big a place. People friendly There's no facilities. The manager is unpleasant to owners. But the location is good being convenient for Redcar and also next to a good and sand dunes. The old manager retired now so things have improved although management problems persist. Still 3 Star 🌟 It's very beautiful. Love the Did some Nordick walking there , meets at something in mind cafe 12,30 on a Thursday afternoon , Redcar is a brilliant place for various activities especially for surfers Lovely position close to Redcar’s amenities, my Nanna has spent many a year here at her caravan and enjoyed it. I myself enjoyed it in my younger days. Most of the staff on the park are polite and helpful with one exception the female warden, she’s got very little customer service skills and infact a very rude personality and her dealing with customers and they’re families too is extremely rude and disgusting this woman lets tingdene and their staff down immensely on this site.. other than her the itself is lovely prime posistion on the and close to redcar town itself, the new boating lake only a 5 minute walk too A magical place to enjoy the world. Fresh air, sand and great people. What more could you want! Loved every minute! This caravan park is well kept and the people on park are all really nice and friendly. The staff are also friendly, welcoming and go the extra mile to help. Lots of caravans have a sea view and the is really quiet and peaceful. It’s close to all the amenities but far away enough to be peaceful.
