Harder than it looks! It’s very safe, with a unique system of magnetic clips that ensure you are latched on the entire time. I would be curious though to know how they check all the and how frequently. The blue course in particular is challenging and exhilarating for both young and old (as long as you’re not afraid of heights). There are a couple of rock walls and swinging ladders that required real upper body strength to get through. There are employees on the ground observing, but they never had to take action from what I noticed. This is a pretty pricey experience, but worth it for a full 3 hours of fun and challenges. Brought my two sons here and we all had a fantastic time. The were friendly but didn't interact much while we were on the courses. Definitely rely too much on adults to control what's expected on each course. Beware of extra costs like €5 just to park there and €2 per person for compulsory gloves I had to buy, although I already had many packets of builders gloves in my car. All in all a great, fun day out. Just unhappy about the extra costs. Brilliant for my 16 year old They had a amazing time. Some brilliant zip lines . It’s a beautiful spot and craic good value for money. Got set up with Simon who was so warm and professional guy. Then on the obstacle a friend got caught up with something and Stephen was so thank you to him. Definitely and it’s even a good vibe in not the best weather but definitely better in the sun. Thanks Simon and Stephen ye are great! Review: Zipit Forest Adventures If you're craving a heart-racing yet family-friendly outdoor activity, Zipit is a must-visit. The parks—located in Dublin (Tibradden Wood), Lough Key (Roscommon), Farran Park (Cork), and the newly opened Djouce Park (Wicklow)—offer a perfect mix of adrenaline and immersive nature. What stands out right away is the safety-first approach—ERCA-certified instructors, thorough briefings, and equipped with secure belay systems all ensure peace of mind. The circuit structure is brilliantly tiered for all and confidence levels: Green (1–2 m): For 7–8—ideal for beginners and young children Orange (up to 4 m): For 9+—a gentle confidence-builder White (up to 10 m): Slightly more challenging—also for 9+ Blue (up to 15 m): For those 12+—packed with zip lines and longer paths Red (15–20 m): For 15+—a serious thrill requiring strength and nerve Most sessions last about 3 hours, including briefing time. Additional features like swinging logs, Tarzan swings, climbing walls, floating platforms, rope bridges, and the standalone Zip Trail (12 ziplines spanning ~500 m, ~10 m up) make the even richer. Families and groups rave about it: > “Highly recommended for a brilliant day out! … no arguments, everyone was kept entertained and challenged!” “Where to start… I wasn’t expecting almost 4.5 hrs… what a varied course.” --- Pricing Overview (Online Rates) Based on the Tibradden Wood / Lough Key pricing: Age Group / Type Price (Online) Access Level 7–8 years €25 Green (↓ 2 m) 9–11 years €33 Up to White (↑ 10 m) 12–14 years €35 Up to Blue (↑ 15 m) 15–17 years €37 Up to Red (↑ 15–20 m) 18+ adult €42 All circuits Student (valid ID) €37 All circuits Zip Trail option: From around €12 per person (additional 30-minute ziplining adventure) Farran Park (Cork) offers slightly lower rates but similar structure—e.g., €19 for 7-8 years, €42 for adults, with Red circuit access. CORK I have to start with the staff- a special shout out to Hamish, he was a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day, he was fun, patient and clear when teaching us how to use the equipment. You can tell with all the is no.1 and you do feel very safe! They also manage to instruct the children when errors are made without ‘telling them off’ or sounding rude so everyone remains happy and learning. The were good fun, I do feel €120 for a family of 4 for 3 hours is on the expensive side but it’s an occasional treat. We didn’t try and snacks and drinks so I can’t comment but plenty of space to have a picnic. I would recommend! Absolutely brilliant for all of the family. of different difficulty and challenges but you start off on an easy one so you'll know if it's for you or not. are excellent and present all round the various courses. Plenty of parking. Will definitely return Fantastic ! Different varying in difficulty. The set up is brilliant and are very professional. I'm terrified of heights but the make you feel so safe and are fun to chat with! Really day out Unreal specially if you doing it with family or group of friends you could have some craick, are so kind and funny they explain everything and made sure that everyone understood they are tracking you when you are up in the trees and made sure if you stuck or need help, they are seriously secure , make sure you don’t stand behind very young age kids because they make you wait for you end up with no to do the blue and red so if you feel yourself you can do it faster than the person standing front of you kindly ask to go before them. Also don’t drink too much water before the activity because when you go up that high you might need toilet and so hard to go back and take the costume off to be able to go toilet 😂 We arrived for an afternoon session in the rain, welcomed by and no wait to get kitted out and briefing, then on to the demo course (there are a few), very instructor and patient too. Then we were off to the green and orange courses, as it was quiet we had no pressure to keep moving and though it was wet it was very enjoyable. We stopped for a hot drink for a while then finished the day by redoing one of the where one of our party got stuck and was helped reverse off the course by a speedily arriving instructor. Lots of rain can mean you get very wet so dress appropriately as the tree canopy doesn't give that much protection. family outing. Kids (11,9,7) all really enjoyed it and was suitable for the adults as well. Only got to the third level of difficulty. 7yr old only got to do easiest level course so might be best for 9 and above. Need to be 12 for more advanced course. Lovely place in farran woods with loads of parking €5 Fantastic day out. Both the kids and the adults thoroughly enjoyed the session. Plenty of instructors around to provide support/instructions across the various areas of/when needed. Would definitely go back. Fantastic day out. Exciting, fun and full of adrenaline. Loved the different level of courses. Did 3 of the 5. Didn't have to do the red one. We started at 4.30pm. By the we got 3 done, they were starting to close, so would advise to try and book a bit earlier, although I did enjoy not having anyone behind me in the last course as only handful of people were left. Booking is essential. are very pleasant and friendly and gave me a push to keep going which was lovely. Very safe and high level of and demonstration at the beginning which was clear and easy to follow. Highly to anyone! Highly recommend, are amazing , especially Niamh , she was so so and friendly. Such a beautiful area too which is a plus! 10/10 for and facilities. The girls loved it. Gave them confidence and helped them understand about facing fears. It was also team building others around them helped them navigate the course along with giving words of encouragement and support it was fantastic. My kids (10 & 12) recently had their birthday party at Zipit Farran. I was worried that they were too young but was quickly reassured of how is paramount. were attentive, and very friendly. We will be back for sure 😃😁 I went to Zipit in Cork with my daughter for her 11th birthday and I am thoroughly impressed. My daughter is Autistic and Jack our instructor was an absolute credit to himself and the company for looking after us in such an attentive and friendly way. In saying that all of the where very pleasant and helpful. I would highly and my daughter is already wanted to go back for her next birthday! Thank you very much. First of all Patricio, Niamh and the rest of the are excellent, very and extremely accommodating!! Between saving you from the heights you thought you could handle, holding onto medication to run it to you at a moments notice . They do absolutely everything they can to make your enjoyable. From obstacle to zip lines it’s all fun. For anyone who’s a bit nervous there is always a member within sight and they’re willing to help in anyway at all just scream “HELP”🤣🤣 I couldn’t Zipit enough to families with kids or to anyone that just wants to have a day!!
