We started above the river and ended just by the camping house. The rooms are cute and cozy, however, the shared kitchen, toilet and shower were dirty and not cared after. The smell was awful that ruined the excitement of the stay. Nice and quiet place. Perfect place to relax, located near by river Barta 30min from Liepaja (25km) and 3h from Riga (240km). At the moment, there are space up to 40 persons, 4 houses apartments for up to 6 persons each and 2 tents - up to four persons. Each of equipt with refregirater, boilers, shower and wc, electric surface for cooking. Outside each have small terrace and wood grill. For bigger events, there are beach volley and terrace for some nice evening event. You can order Sauna form owner - very responsive person. You deffinetly must come and enjoy this perfect place!! Talked with the staff in April, sent messages, called on the phone etc. Only to come in June and find out that they had booked our to other guests. Thankfully we managed to get the as there was no other place to go for us and they offered an hour boat rental for free as well, so that was good. But we were still left with a bad start and feeling of our holiday. A lesson for us and others - always call right before you go to check if you still have the place. The place itself is good, quite and calm. There is river and other activities around. But if the host can either overbook or forget reservations, it takes stars away from the place and holiday feelings. Sad experience even with the solution.
