Parco Archeologico di Tindari

Patti, Italy Historical landmark

Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. For Roman and Grecophiles. You can get up close and personal in this small place and still enjoy amazing mosaics and a greek theater as well as a Roman bath complex and basilica 🅿 was easy in late October 2021..nice remains, very impressive Greek theater.. and basilica... and some other important remains... but, not well marked and no other language than Italian... should be better organized... and if weather is rainy it's better to avoid because only non pavement area is everywhere... Incredible Graeco-Roman history. I agree with the other reviews, minimal signage-several things are entirely unmarked. Wear long pants because paths aren't all mowed. See picture. Cool mosaics. It's still worth visiting but you can't like what they've done with the place! Well worth visiting. Yet another of Sicily's fascinating archeological sites As a lover of Roman and Greek culture, I love this park. Visitors are free. You can walk through the old theater, see a piece of European history with a wonderful view of the sea. Some parts could use better maintenance. Entrance was a few euros per adult. Neat historical park at the top of the mountain. Pretty crazy to be able to walk around 2300 year old ruins. Wish the park would have been free but not too bad. Spent about €20 for two adults and two kids. Really intricate designs that makes you imagine how beautiful and impressive this must have been millennia ago in its prime. Ancient Roman site somewhat restored overlooking the seas. A few minutes walk from the sanctuary so easy to do both. Nice little eaterie with great views, cheaper than those next to the sanctuary. Follow the road on foot to the lighthouse.
