We had burger which I asked medium rare but it was served fully grilled. Hering was too salty and very average. Pancakes with caramel and Pavlova were good. Minuses: you must order inside and we waited for our food almost 2 hours. Very good food, location and atmosphere. Short waiting time to get your dishes done :) But be aware that this place might be full and you might need to wait if you come in the most busiest time of the weekend! Only one table for reservation, so not that bad if you can wait, wont take a long time :) A cafe to enjoy some hot drinks and delicious desserts or have a takeaway after a bike ride from Liepaja, a long walk near the beach or Bernati wood. Sweets can also be ordered for your celebrations with on-site pick-up. Apart from that, the place has changed a lot during these 7 years. Do not get me wrong, it is still a nice place to have a dinner with friends if you are nearby and the service is polite, but there is no personal touch from small business owners anymore you could feel in a calm and snowy day the first 2 years after they opened. Unfortunately, it is not anymore a hidden gem in Bernati wood, but mass oriented, quick-service cafe with prepared food to be served in 5 minutes after you arrive. Prepare for the second dish to be served before the first one is done, the same two ingredient salad version on every plate, lower service level during a peak season and poor ventilation as well as air quality. July 2021 - probably due to summer peak the staff was unexperienced, some of the ladies seemed to be at all disinterested in job they are during. The staff already wanted to take off the plates while we were eating the last pieces of the dish, which did not speak anything good about the quality. The best lemonades we have ever tried! 🍹🍹 We were pleasently surprised by how good and creative the food was and how kind was the staff! The waitress gave our puppy giant bowl full of treats and water (and not just once but every time we went to have a lunch there! 😅) In the garden they have amazing old tree! The music is also amazing and so relaxing! *we highly recommend the soups, the potato pancakes and the crepes 🥞😊👌 We can't wait to go back there. 😍 Our puppy Chester says "thank you" to the nice ladies he met there! 🐶❤️😁 This place was fine, with interesting design and delicious desserts. As we are regular visitors - we chose table inside this time due to it being winter.On visits in summer I advice to sit outside - such a scenery and fresh air.
