I was there for my aunty's funeral reception & the were great they told me where to park when we arrived & would recommend the golf club to anyone who want's a reception What a great club. Visited for the first time in years, and its had a bit of a facelift with loads of money being spent on the function suite which is beautiful. Warm friendly helpful who put a wheelchair ramp up for me. The best I have seen the course in all my 50 years membership. The greens are in fantastic condition, the tees are looking very good, and the all round of the course is a testament to the hard working green keeping staff, well done. Thoroughly enjoyed playing in the Gents Seniors competition today. Lovely course. Some difficult holes with a small burn which winds through a lot of the holes. Makes it very challenging, correct club selection needed. Well worth a visit if you haven't been. friendly and welcoming of visitors Great wee course, In very condition, welcoming clubhouse and professional. Played a few rounds here and always enjoyed it Was at the club for a function. The caterers did a great job with food and cheery and the room was well laid out for about 40 people. Recommend for functions (I don’t lay golf) Well maintained and a grt lay out. Plenty of parking. Friendly professional and staff. Interesting course, challenging enough for the medium handicapper. Could signal the blind holes slightly better. Well maintained course in in May when I visited. Lovely course, in nice condition, will definitely go back Superb course in beautiful given the lack of rain, the greens were in immaculate and fairways really well kept. I was made feel very welcome as a guest, I would highly recommend this ! ⛳️👍🏻👍🏻 Great course, lovely and first class service. Really made me feel at home. I have given 4 instead of 5 stars solely down to the inadequate parking as it really felt that the parking area was far too small for the amount of people playing at this wonderful club. Great course and very friendly Very challenging , longer than the course I play on. Unfortunately it poured down all day typical scottish weather at least the rain was warm Be to try it in sunshine There is much more to see. These photos are taken in the overgrown grounds of what was once Kenmure House built by one of the renowned Stirling family. It became a convent school for girls I believe before becoming derelict and ruined by fire. Very little remains apart from the cast iron gate /fence posts a buff sandstone base or cap stone that appear in what I reckon to be a garden on a slope. There is much rubbish left behind, (mainly empty beer cans and broken glass) I'm sorry to say but with a little care and attention this could be a lovely nature walk. Yes you can see the golf course through the pallisade fencing which in itself is a lovely view if you wish to do so. The Bluebells are lovely but I'm not sure what the tall stocky plant is. A hidden gem, starts in the town centre and quickly meanders into the countryside. Fabulous golf course. We had a wonderful experience at Bishopbriggs. We were traveling through and did not have clubs. The Clubhouse Manager, Theresa, saved the day. She checked and rounded us up some clubs and a golf cart. She and her team were awesome and I am so thankful we ran into her. She made a bucket list item come true! Lovely parkland course with friendly members and pro. Greens were considering the rain we have had. Can't comment on the hospitality as we had a long drive home so didn't stay. Agree that car park could be a challenge at busy times although we had no problem. Would definitely play again.
