Dated interiors etc but clean and cared for and seemed ideal space for family event that was self catering. It is an old fashioned welfare club type building... So really, just what it says on the tin and nowt wrong with that. Place is just perfect for any celebrations. The staff are amazing and the bar is spot on. All friendly and very helpful. Prices are much as you would expect for a social club except for Guinness which is £3.15 a pint. Not expensive, but still on a.par with normal Glasgow pub prices. Decent place for a private function in the area. Great place for catching up with friends The kirky miners is a fabulous place to hold an event, the staff are great, it has a very reasonable booking price, the place doesn't look much but boy you can have a fabulous time there. Great crowd. Danced all night. Was there for two functions both times everything well laid out.
