Not enough dog bins walking up into the at the health centre. There was a couple if bins but been broken off and never replaced but you can find bins at the kids area not the best maybe time the council looked into it Wouldn't say it classes as a park. Big green patch of grass with a kids play park. Right next to a main road too fyi. Restrooms in sports center use the sports centre carpark. There are picnic tables playground for up to 12 year olds small for toddlers A visit to the gymnastic club for children to drop off my grandaughter in the Woodhead EDLC (leisure centre). My granddaughter loves it and is learning new skills. The staff who run the gymnastic club are ace and great teachers according to my granddaughter. She is a great judge of character and she loves the class. She has attended another nearby gymnastic class in East Dunbartonshire and learned a lot less and wanted to stop taking gymnastics. That's how good they are. Nice little in a a beautiful little village. Kids loved this park. Nice enough. Although typical with parks here, older kids have defaced the park, one climbing frame was closed as it had been set on fire and there was glass all around the roundabout. Apart from those negatives, is a nice wee place Brilliant time grandson and friend loved it. Great wee Not much to for my 5 year old niece to play with although she did love the sand. Pity all the beaters for music features are missing. Rubber surface under equipment very slippy when wet, which led to her having a fall. Probably a lot better on a dry day. ☺️ The children's playground has recently been completely upgraded with new play equipment and has specialised swings for children with disabilities. There is also a small wheelchair freindly roundabout. Nice clean area with plenty of modern wooden activities for kids to have fun on. Picnic benches and seats for kids. Nice but small walk around the good for playing hide and seek or short stroll with your dog. We attended 2023 gala day with thistle divers. Great day, well run, and well attended.
